I take it you were the caller with the Cammaleri rumor? Hahahahaha yea Schopp has a tendency to blow up for no reason at callers. I turned him off shortly after.

If Miller is on the shelf for the longterm, getting Biron back makes some semblance of sense. Trading a good defenseman who is still signed next year for a rental goalie, however, makes ZERO sense. I imagine if Regier wants to deal Tallinder, he's going to get more back than 2 months of Marty Biron. If they told me Afinogenov was the trade piece, I'd be closer to believing it. Of course, that would mean Max has actual trade value, which I'm still unsure about...

No I wasn't the caller. I don't think I could call that show because the first words out of my mouth would be "YOU'RE PROBABLY GOING TO DISAGREE WITH THIS BUT I LOVE BEING LECTURED BY A RADIO HOST, ANYWAY, SO.." And they'd cut me off.

I just had to turn the show off after they opened three segments and 45 minutes opening with a trade rumor involving other teams players and then flip out about someone who calls in with trade rumor because it involved other teams players.

Sure, but then we'll need another deal to get a center.

I can't see Regier making the first move for Biron, a second move to replace Tallinder with Klesla, and then a third move to replace Connolly with player X.

Well I missed when this rumour dropped due to a fun weekly meeting but I don't like the looks of that. Tallinder is more valuable to this team this year and next year than Marty would be in the short term. The effect it would have on the d-corps overall and the PK would be awful.

If we replaced Tallinder with Spacek, would anyone want to make the deal? Not that Spacek is worse than Tallinder, he's not, but we've got Tallinder tied up, and Spacek we do not.

I would not mind moving Spacek if we got something meaningful. I'd rather shop him for offense. But eh.

I'd love Cammallerri. He can play center and him and Roy would make the perfect 1,2 punch. For I'd prefer him over Connolly anway. What's his contract status like?

UFA at season's end. He has 33 goals, 30 assists and will cash in big time July 1. The rumor makes no sense.

highly unlikely Kings will move him. I believe he has 2 years under 3 mil each season left on his deal.

I don't see the sabres going after a goalie. Biron is not much of an upgrade over Lalime.

WGR was just setting themselves up for making a Marty Biron Mic'd up to play during a lull in tomorrow's coverage

lol bucky gleason is snorting rainbow sherbet on this one. When has biron ever been known to be consistant, besides the whole 17 or 12 in a row lol).? now this is not a rip about a player i love but more about respecting tallinder. hank the euro spank has enough knowlege to turn most offensive dippsy doodle into a paper christmas chain. so what if we are soft? change is not going to happen at the expense of skill! this is once again an area where bucky gleason looks like he would have been better off being a state trooper.

Gerber is just as good of an option. Cut some dead weight(Peters) and get it done.

Did i miss the part in Bucky's bizarro wet dream where Marty can now lug the puck up ice and score? Kee-rist. Or does Bucky remember Biron as anything but full of fail? A perfectly adequate Gerber ready to be used like a rented mule that would cost the team zero assets shunned in favor of losing Hank and getting a former netminder back in the fold who could never win the number one spot on his own talent? Hmz, so what's the punchline? He can't be serious...

Oh yeah, beloved in the locker room. Just like Bolts and Peters. One I wouldn't take back on a dare, the other should have been reading his name on the waiver wire news already. Meh, how about getting a guy who does his job and doesn't have to rely on personality or his primo skill at opening the bench door.

How about looking into a deal that swings some primary scoring back this way. Apparently the secondary scoring is a fabled myth, much like sasquatch and that kid who ate pop rocks and drank a pepsi and essssploded.

I saw one report that Philly had yet to talk to Marty about waiving his NTC, so that would suggest that this is a purely media driven pipedream.
