Biron, who has a home in suburban Buffalo, has said he would waive his no-trade clause to go to a team of his choice.

Do you know what Morris makes?

Please define (in your eyes) what NOT giving up too much is.

Morris' cap hit is a shade under 4 a year.

Yes, I know he makes between $3.5 and $4.0 million.....Is that close enough for you??? I also rather have him than Carle.

I would NOT trade Biron for him (although I wouldnt trade Biron at all)

Only in Philly do they trade the goalie that almsot single handedly carried them through the playoffs the following year......

At the cost of Niittymaki being our starting goalie in the playoffs?

It doesn't make sense, I know, but I feel like we were so close last year and he's just gonna go all out to try to get us a cup and make moves that might screw up our chemistry or our future.

Both goalies blow, might as well get rid of Biron's cap space and have Munroe back Niity up. Maybe he'll get olympics hot.

I realllllly do not want to enter the playoffs with Niitty. It's just like last year with Biron he was never in the playoffs.

Agreed. Just thought for sake of discussion, that he would fit more than what I feel Recchi would.

Yeah, that's definately close enough.

Now I ask you, what's the right price for you?

Biron was finally given the chance to be a number one from the beginning of the season and played great all year.....Every time in the past Nitty has been given the chance with this team he has choked and lost it.

That doesnt mean it will happen again, but it means I want an insurance policy much better than Munroe
