I remember Guerin flopping when he was traded to San Jose at the deadline.

I don't like this trade from the Penguins perspective.

There's no way this costed a 1st, I don't think.

Maybe a 2nd and a 3rd, like Schneider cost Mtrl.

It won't. Pittsburgh was Snow's Plan B.

My guess is that it's a 2nd or 3rd.

I'm really glad Pierre could teach us what a rental is, and why it is useful. Maybe later he can describe to us why picks/prospects make sense to teams out of contention.

Sorry to say, but Hossa + Malone >>>> Kunitz + Guerin

Now about the Canucks doing something...

What did you expect? That the Pens trade for Jay-Bo, Olli Jokinen and Derek Morris?

Or this - but I stand by the "and" being possible too.

Would be helpful if Pens were going to make the playoffs but otherwise I don't see any use for this.

Phew!

So glad the Rangers didn't pick this guy up.

Good luck with Dollar Bill, Pens.

Oh, I'm sure. Guerin is a terrible, God-awful playoff performer.

Anything over a 2nd is absolute larceny.
