I'm just glad Carbonneau is leaving the lines alone, seeing as the Habs have 0 goals....why bother.

Fact is, we need to score goals too. We can't count on our goalies stopping every shot.

That third goal was weak..... typical of a goalie with no confidence and I dont see him getting it back anytime soon, this used to be a strength of this team not now......

I don't see why spelling it Gorges is so hard for people.

There is no e after the 1st letter. There never was and never will be.

Unless you mean Laraque, but I have a feeling you don't.

Gainey has officially embarrassed himself. I hope he's proud of his failed 5 year plan.

Price sucks these days but trade him? Yeah, real smart. The people on Hfboards who love the Habs like to critique the moves a GM doesn't make but then turn around and call trades they clamoured for terrible years later (see Ribeiro for Ninimaa).

I agree for sure. I just hate people blaming JUST Price. Like, i've been skeptical of him for a bit now too but tonight he's only let in one questionable goal, and it was a good shot too.

If we play better around him and start potting some goals, he should be able to gain some of his confidence back. But that's clearly not happening right now.

It looks even worse on the players though. He put his trust in them and this is how they respond. Actually it's on both, Gainey for being an idiot today at the deadline, and the team for being so heartless. It was painfully obvious we needed help defensively, and a center to replace Lang, I'm baffled at how simple fans can see it but he can't.

if only akost would be put on the right side, it would fix our top 2 lines and make them more of a threat

I like Dagger, but his time with Koivu and Higgins should be over.....put AK46 on that line, and move Dagger with Lappy or back to Hamilton.

The best trades are the one you didnt make... my *ss!

And please, get Brisebois the **** out of this line-up. He dont deserve to get his 1000th game. He looked like a ****ing pee wee on the Spacek goal.

This team's D pairings don't have much chemistry...really don't like Komi/Gorges together, as much as I like both of them seperate from each other.

Markov/Komi back together? Markov / Gorges?

I'd go....

Markov/Komi
Schneid/Hammer
Gorges/Dandy

OByrne or Dandy, even a healthy Boullion would be a huge improvement over Brisebois. Schneid's addition brings the whole 'PP shot' argument out of any reason this guy is still in the lineup. There are clearly better options.

Not pleased with the intensity in tonights game. Kaleta takes a run at Kovy early, Price gets elbowed by Paille....no response from anyone. No grit.

Can we still claim Roberts? Does he need to get placed on re-entry's? Will he be?

i am worried that even though price is solid, the team is not backing him up...he's 21 if the team loses despite them not bailing him out then can you blame him from being confident? everyone is invincible to emotion, lack of confidence, and pressure when behind a keyboard but in real life not even one of us could survive playing in montreal and being called god...thats the sad reality of it. if this all means price plays ****** for this season and perhaps the next, for him to be amazing for the next ten, fifteen years after that then by all means.

some posters or should i say posers need to realize he's young, he's susceptible to pressure, and he's not being helped by his team members....please stop the carey hating because when he is a stud down the road all you godly keyboard warriors will be on his nuts.

Westcoasthabsfan: (Quoting's not working) make a trade for the sake of making a trade? Are you serious fan? Have you not noticed how pathetic we are defensively? Have you not noticed how badly we miss Lang? You don't think he was sitting around doing nothing all day? He pretty much admitted to it at the press conference!

fire carbo and bring in someone who knows how to coach.....other than that the team is fine. This is looking a lot like a team that isnt playing to a system. There just running around wherever the puck is with disregard to their positions
