Caekslap: It's also on the team for not capitalizing on those chances.

I don't think we need to bother making a PGT when the game ends. We can just continue to ***** and whine in this thread.

This is the worst GDT ever. It sounds like whiny Leaf fans at times. Boycott the Habs eh? We've got some outlandish claims. Yeah, Gillette is only in it for the money and Gainey is our worst GM ever? Houle was 10X worse and Molson never spent a dime. God this thread has been invaded by the worst kind of bitter fan tripe! Sure the Habs suck but they aren't in a cold streak like before, so this is less of a continuation of crap than the losses on the West coast trip. Whatever the case, I think we can bounce back next year. Others are convinced we'll be playing for a 2010 1st overall pick.

The Habs should have picked up a finisher... While others got better, the Habs maintained the status quo.

Hey, as they said on TV.. There's always the 101st year.

WOW DID YOU SEE THE PLAYERS THAT WERE TRADED THIS DEADLINE? ALMOST NONE ARE IMPACT PLAYERS AND GAINEY DIDN'T WANT TO JEAPORDIZE THE FUTURE FOR A SHORT TERM FIX... You're not the GM, so shut the **** up.

If the defense is the shadow of themselves and Carey Price can't make a save to SAVE his life, how is that Gainey's fault. It's the same ****ING team we had last minus minus Streit, and we added Schneider to replace him

=====

the deadline? gainey could have made trades from november 1 on! this was the team he himself assembled. btw- schneider he could have picked up on waivers and not give up any draft picks for him when he cleared anaheims waivers- another dumb move of his as he had lots of cap space then. no one told him to go out and get bouillion and brisebois but himself.

the worst gm in the nhl himself ruined price when he traded huet away putting all the pressure on the 20 year old.

a star for canada - wins calder cup for hamilton then the coaching wannabees and friends of gainey and gainey destroy his confidence here.

listen to the dimwit talk to the press trying to show them how smart he is.

I'm sure it's been said, but I'm kind of sick of making that damn crap-ass goalie look like an all-star.

Yes, Carbo, why don't you "punish" AKost by "demoting" him off the ATAK line!
No one notices as usual that, like all the other times, he was brought there to get Kovalev out of his funk!

Ahhh man.... I am pissed at this performance.

I am upset that Gainy didn't pick up Olli Jokinen today, as I think we obviously need a big center. We might have beat San Jose, but Habs players are so small they couldn't move them off the puck. Thanks to luck there was 4 wins in a row.

Bob had better land an impact player via a trade this summer - i.e. Vinny. I like Komi, but I would rather see him Bob give Jaybo 6-7 a season, then 5 a year for Komi. So much for the 5 year plan!!! It's time to rebuild this team all over again. I am frustrated for the first time in years as a Habs fan........I have loved Bobs patience over the last few years.....i.e. not giving too much up via trade for impending RFA's, or spending too much on RFA's - see Briere, but something has got to give. No negotiating during the season means most of the UFA's will be gone......I have a feeling Bob will be outbid on most of them.

This has been kind of a fragmented and ****ed up message...i am overtired, and generally frustrated and pissed off.....no sleep/work stress/annoyed at trade deadline day = I can't think straight.

I just hope the Habs will transform in the playoffs (assuming we make it), and perform up to their abilities......no, this won't win us the cup, but I think it's enough to make it out of the east.....with some luck, good coaching (that is a laugh), and players playing up to full potential it might just happen. There won't be any cup parade this year though...teams in the west are just too strong for the Habs, or anyone in the east I am afraid.

Better next luck year boys........

He is going to.

And then Andrei is going to play with Koivu, and score 5 points in 4 games.

Then Carbo is going to reason that AKost has found his game and can now play with Kovalev again.

The more I think about it, the more I realize that a few trades wouldn't have changed much. Our problem goes beyond missing a big center and/or a top 4 dman... A major shakeup is needed, and I don't only mean with players, I'm talking personnel too.

Really? I guess Howie Morenz's death could never compare to a GM not making a trade that wouldn't really make a big difference anyway and then the team lost 5-1 in Buffalo. I'll remember this day for weeks... then i'll forget about it like all the other ****** days from this season. Rock bottom is still our 7-2 beat down in Edmonton. Next.
