Now that the boards are back up, I can finally post about how nobody cares that Erik Christensen got traded.

I think this is a great move for the Thrashers, simply because Christensen is retarded bad and O'Dell is better than nothing.

Thrashers fans care. EC was more useless than teats on a bull. Most of us would have been happy with a pound of Tim's finest.

WOOOOOOO Christensen is gone. What a useless player. I was really hoping he was just in a bad situation in Pittsburgh, but he just sucks.

Spent quite a bit to get a replacement for Army over the past couple of days, didn't they?

I have a feeling Christensen is going to turn things around playing on a line with Getzlaf and Perry, hell, they've made worse than him look like 4 million dollar players.

This deal seems like people think EC was just given away. They got good value for him. O'Dell is scoring at a PPG in the OHL, and was a 2nd (?) rounder last season.

Nice deal for ATL.

EC has a lot of skill and zero heart. I think he gets eaten alive in the Western Conference.

Ha, what? Kunitz?

Tyler Kennedy made Armstrong expendable last year.

EC has loads of raw talent and seems like a nice guy, but he's got zero confidence. He played really well over the past five games or so, but he's still shielding his bum left shoulder.

The end of the story is this: EC is not as good as Rich Peverley or Todd White - or even Reasoner, and Atlanta has plenty of third line centers in the system.

I like Crusher, and I hope he does well in Anaheim. Gives me a reason to watch them other than Pronger The Evil Giraffe.

DW did a great job for a rebuilding team with not a lot of assets. Every one thought he'd move Reasoner or Armstrong instead of Crusher, and the Havelid deal was smart too. I like that he got real prospects not just picks that can be hit or miss.

Yeah, they had to give up a conditional draft pick for his replacement.

Or were you talking about Malone?

We drafted a better version of Colby...we call him Tyler Kennedy...or the guy we signed without giving up any assets who is also way better...we call him Matt Cooke...

Either way you slice it, we got a better version of him without giving up an asset...and by giving up Colby (in part), we got to the Stanley Cup Finals...hard to look back and regret any part of that...

Right...Crobsy didn't miss him AT ALL

It's not the Penguins haven't spent the entire year looking for someone to ride shotgun with Sidney. First Satan and now Guerin.

What are you talking about? We claimed Craig Adams off of waivers for free.

Armstrong his last season as a Pen: 15:24 ATOI, 54 games, 24 points, 0.44 PPG
Satan this season as a Pen: 15:45 ATOI, 65 games, 36 points, 0.55 PPG

Satan was practically useless this year. Armstrong was EVEN WORSE. Good riddance to him, his crooked nose and his ability to miss wide open nets.
