I don't think nothing was done about it. It was a crash the net scenario and on the replay we saw what happened (I doubt any of you knew anything until you saw it), and I believe it was still when the game was 0-0 or 1-0, so can't immediately go headhunting (who knew they would eventually get pps that would kill us so easily), elbow wasn't intentional but guys were trying to dish out hits, they just...couldn't. Komi roughed up Kuleta at some point and Gorges provided Price with moral support and suicide passes leading to goals (all in good fun). I was more pissed about Laraque not going after (Gaustad?) after the hit on Kovy early in the game that was called for interference. Pleky and Akost actually tried to stand up, but what good is that? Good game by Pleky IMO, not just the goal. His passes weren't being finished by Kovy or Kosty (whiffff).

Any news on Halak? He will join the team in Atlanta. Is he recover enough to start the next game?

Price: At least, he confirms that Halak is, in the current situation, our number 1 goalie and that he should be the starting tender in the playoffs.

Komisarek:

Briseballs: Play that 1000th game and GTFO already.

Dags: Learn to take a hit.

Not only was he not on the ice, but he was injured and left the game shortly there after.... hard to blame him

Price right now is the worst "#1" goalie in the league. The entire team played terrible, but that doesn't excuse ANOTHER terrible game by Price

I don't think they can do that. He has played a good 12 or 13 games or so since injury, and he said he was 100% when he came back. Injury is not his problem, his problem is between his ears!

How about it coming down the last game of the regular season and having to win to make the playoffs, and losing...this year that would be Pittsburgh.

The year Toronto did it still gives me nightmares.....that may have been the darkest day in Habs history.

Dont bash me for this, im simply telling you guys what i heard from someone at the game tonight.

Laraque is not injured and would have left the game in complete anger of always being benched and missing shifts..

Judging by Carbo's comments when asked about Laraque i think it may be true..thats just what i heard..

turning point was when they crashed Price and no one really did anything about it ....

and the missed PP chances

and don't get me started with Higgins and Price....useless

but I really liked what I saw from Paccioretti and Lapierre again.

I know it is, but I am pretty sure they can fenangle a conditioning stint nonetheless.

Anyone know the rules on these exactly?

Well, since Montreal scored, will we be seeing the exact same crap on Friday?

When your goalie drops like he's been shot...you know something happened. I agree you can't go headhunting, but at least facewash the guy, grab him, yap at him.....do something ffs. This team is so passive it's ridiculous, or just tell buddy to keep his head up, and then lay the body to him all night long....till he starts hearing footsteps.

I'd say he's useless playing on the left side while playing with Kovy/Pleks. AKost played quite well on the left side for the few games he played with Koivu.

I think the problem is more that a big part of AKost's game is carrying the puck. Something that doesn't happen when he plays with Kovy.

Nobody had a chance to do anything about it though. The puck was loose in front of the net and the net was empty. They had to keep the puck out of there.

Not 100%, but there is a good chance. He's just waiting for the doctors to give him the green light.

We have seen our players start to rough up the other team when Halak was in net. I do not know why they don't do the same thing for Price. Right now, Price in net make me very nervous. Imagine how our players feel?

He may have played well on Koivu's left, but he'd be killer on his right with Tanguay on the left.

Right, and again IMO, that was mostly due to lack of support. It was being muscled off by two of them usually. When Koivu was able to get there, they came out with the puck. I didn't notice Higgins lending support at all.
I did notice that a few times Lucius, but sometimes it depended on the situation. If you have D'agostini battling for the puck in the corner, with Koivu on his way to help out. Higgins has to head to the slot and hope that one of them can get him the puck.

They said on TSN he has the green light, they're just waiting for him to be in game shape.
