Hey guys just curious if anyone has gone through to see if he was even remotely in the ball park on any of his speculations. Just curious. Mods don't lock this. I'm just curious about the percentage.

I'm not familiar with the "E1" stuff, what does it mean?

He actually called Jokinen to Calgary like a day in advance, so I'll give him that one. But he's like Raycroft with his record of most wins by a goalie in a Leaf uniform, if you play a crap load of games, you're bound to win some.

He's been calling Jokinen to the Flames for 2 years.

that sounds about right. So do we count that as a half right. I know there are a few guys that like to do the digging for the numbers hopefully someone has the time to burn.

actually no he didn't----On monday morning when the Jokinen rumours started one of the talking heads on I think 590 or the other sports station said that Phoenix had called Calgary late last week. If you review the weekend postings about Jokinen possible trade--a few mentioned Calgary and his relationship with Keenen--so No--h does not get credit for that

And Vinny Prospal will be moved.
I'm just an average hockey fan with no inside sources and correctly predicted that Cole would end up in Carolina. Wrong with the return to Edmonton though. Also correctly predicted Jokinen, Guerin, Antropov, and Moore would be moved and I knew people would be surprised with the return on Moore.

Thing is, any guy on this entire board could do the same thing. Everyone knew Guerin, Antropov, Moore, Jokinen etc. would be gone come deadline day. And we all knew roughly which teams were interested based on our general evaluations of each team. From there, it was guess work to see how much each team would pay.

Anyone on this board can predict at a success rate similar to Eklund. The main problem I have with the site is it predicts at least one rumour per day, sometimes as many as 3 - 4. Honestly, GM's don't sit at their desk all day and think "Who will I trade today?" and call everyone around the league. No they have many more responsibilities. Trading is a small part of there job.

Whatever, my little rant.
