Serious question : Why isn't Dandenault playing on the blueline?

Why is Carbs sticking with Brisebois and Gorges? Why not mix up the back end a bit? Thoughts?

I have no idea either. I would certainly try Dandy on D.

I don't know

he was really good before getting injured... You can also ask why D'Ago is still on the 1st line, I would put Max Pac on the 1st line, hopefully, he'll be gone when Tanguay come back!

Seriously, ive always loved him as a Defensman even when people hated him in the Dandouillon days. He has adequate size for a D skates like the wind, can carry the puck out of the zone, backcheks better than anyone on this team, has a heart of the size of the Bell center and can even be physical. In this new NHL hes the prototype bottom pairing D you need.

Maybe because Dandy asked to be traded.

That being said, I've been scratching my head about this for quite some time now.
Breezer has been mediocre at best lately. Obviously playing him as a regular is not the best thing. Putting Dandy could possibly help our D seeing as he's been pretty good in every game he played in so far.

Dandenault is not bad at D, he can't be worse than Brisebois.

Because Brisebois hasn't reach 1000 games yet. He's at 999 right now. Only 1 more !!!!

You could only take the first part of your question and it would still be worth debating. IMO, Dandy is a better 6th defenseman than Brisebois and a better 4th line forward than Laraque.

I don't care about telegraphed/faxed fights, the important ones are "heat of the moment" fights and those mostly involve middleweights.

I'm a Carbonneau fan but this one eludes me as well.

He looks good on D and he's completely useless as a forward. I think they like his speed up front or something I have no idea.

Brisebois Is Garbage......games Where I Dont Mind Him But Lately He's Been The Old Briseby Retire After Your 1000 Game And Sit At Home And Watch Hockey Instead Cuz Right Now The Only Thing Going For You Is Good Seats On The Bench And On The Ice To Watch The Game Go By

i agree. the staff is protecting itself against any other player with similar thoughts of wanting to be traded.

It's SIMPLE!!

The reason Breezer plays is so he can play PP on 2nd wave. Right handed power slap shot from the blue line.. towards our net.

We should have waived Dandenault in the off season for the cap space. He was playing 5 minutes per game last year in the playoffs...

I think it is the exact same reason that AKost is still on a line with Kovalev.

CARBO

This is not a joke by the way, this IS the actual reason.. and some people just dont want to beleive that

its a curtesy carbo is giving to a good friend of his, there.is.no.other.reason as to why dandenault or obyrne are not getting playing time over brisebois, this is it and we have to deal with it, 1 more game to go and i guarantee you, we dont see brisebois for about 15 of the last 20 games

It doesn't make sense.

He can sit Brisebois for the next 15-20 games and give him the last game of the season to reach his 1000th.

Agreed, even at his worst, Dandenault wasn't as bad as Brisebois is right now.
