Great deal! Play him with Regs!

This is almost like getting Nazarov back.

Haha, I was a big Bugs Bunny fan growing up. I think I've watched that episode at least a hundred plus times. The Youtube was just a lucky find.

Sarich has been playing rather well as of late, but with Leopold coming in which do you think will perform better fantasy wise?

Leopold for sure. He'll be getting some PP time probably on the second unit (maybe first though) and as good as Sarich has been he is pretty limited offensively. I think Leopold can get back into that 30-35 point range with the flames.

Sarich doesn't play much on the PP as is, I doubt he loses a significant amount of time due to Leopold's return. If his production drops at all I would guess its just from his offense slowly back to his normal rate (which is just fine, as long as he keeps kicking ass in his own zone like he has most of this year) I would guess Leopold will get more chances for fantasy numbers as well, but no guarantees. I assume Leopold will get a shot back with Regehr, especially since Aucoin and Regehr have struggled a bit together lately, I wouldn't be shocked to see this...

Phaneuf - Vandermeer
Regehr - Leopold
Aucoin - Sarich
Pardy

As the way things will play out the rest of the season, not a terrible setup at all, especially if Regehr and Leopold can re-find their chemistry, Aucoin and Sarich have been generally stellar all year and Phaneuf and Vandermeer (as much as I hate to say it) just do seem to play way better together than apart for whatever reason. Pardy will have to battle Vandermeer for his spot back I would guess.

Picking up Leopold definitely makes up for Giordano being out, I am sure he can at least equate to his presence.

GOod Trade for the flames....i hope that Leopold will sign with the Flames this summer....

But actually, if Leopold help us like he can, i think it's a good trade for the playoff run. Some defenceman will have to step up their plays to have some ice time...interesting...

Good move Darryl...i always said he was the best in his function !

Excellent trade and will help out our back end very well.

I am loving most of the moves Sutter has made this season!

One other thing :

Minnesotta ---- Regress (No move...)
Edmonton ---- Improve (O'Sullivan + Kotalik vs Cole)
Vancouver ---- Stand By (No move...)
Colorado ----- Regress (Leopold....)

Just Edmonton and Calgary have improved...so another good thing from yesterday !
