Jokinen and Leopold are both playing tonight, Kiprusoff is in net (naturally). The whole second line is injured (Langkow, Bertuzzi, and Bourque), so the Flames had called up David Van Der Gulik for a bit. They sent him back down today and called up Kris Chucko. He will be on the 4th line tonight. That makes everyone from the 2004 draft for Calgary to have played in the NHL.

They had that graphic on Comcast Sportsnet awhile ago, and it's David Akers.

Great GDT here, guys.

I'm looking forard to this game. Don't really get to see Flyers-Flames games much, but I love it when I do. Richards is one of my favorite players in the league.

Here's to a great game tonight.

Go Flames!

What are you talking about? Cracknell, Spratt, Matthew Schneider, Fred Wikner, Aki Setsonen and Kris Hogg have never played in the NHL. Only Chucko, Boyd, Prust and Pardy have seen NHL action.

Gagne, Rollins, and McNabb all came in the same year I believe.

On a side note did anyone else notice the mob guy in the beginning of the thread?

Really? I don't think thats right. Mcnabb was drafted and played in 99, as did Gagne, Akers played for Washington and I think made the Eagles in 2000. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe he played in 99 too, but I know for a fact he wasn't with the Eagles longer than Mcnabb.

even though homer has said Cote has a place on the Flyers roster, you have to feel his days as a flyer are over, when the playoffs start you'll never see him on the ice. Carcillo however can skate and take a regular shift.

Whoah, that was rather out-of-context, but yeah I know that Cote will see the playoff ice only if alot of players get injured. Tough guys have tough roles.
