GDT: Montreal @ Atlanta, 7:30est RDS (HD)

I don't see a game day thread, so here is the least fancy thread in history. The way the Habs have been playing they don't deserve a fancy thread.

Montreal @ Atlanta, 7:30 est game time start. Habs look to turn around their recent poor road play. Starting goalie for Montreal has yet to be announced, Halak still listed as day to day with the flu.

Prediction: Montreal wins 7-3 (Price starts ad wins).

Thanks for stepping up Mo, there were no volunteers to do today's GDT.

I would like it to be Price who starts but if Denis doesn't.. it just shows that Carbo has no ounce of confidence in Denis.. at all.

I expect a high scoring game tonight. Maybe a 5-3 win

Denis is back to Hamilton

and Carbo's goal is to win, not to play washed up goaltenders

Halak or Price tonight, and I wish we could get a good perf out of Carey if he plays

Oh yeah your right. My bad.
I'd agree with you, and I dont want him to start Denis either (but he's in Hamilton) but I mean any other coach would think, oh no choice to play the washed up goalie. I just wanted to add that you could see he could care less for Denis. (Which isn't a bad thing)

It's Atlanta. If we don't win this game, we have no business even thinking about the playoffs.

Playofffs? Playoffs? I just hope we can win a game..

Our fans are reactionary. It doesn't matter if we play the Timbits and win..

The most important thing tonight over the win is to have a solid DEFENSIVE game. I want the Habs to let less than 30 shots, it's going to be tough but it has to be the goal for tonight's game.

Truth.

At this rate, before thinking about the playoffs, let's take one game at the time and hope the boys are able to play at the level they are supposed to.

I'm hoping for a win tonight, but to be honest, I have no idea what to expect from this team anymore.

Prior to their loss to Buffalo, they had won 4 straight. Their last three wins came against San Jose, Philadelphia and Vancouver.

It seems that for some fans, if the Habs don't win every game on the schedule it's just not good enough.

Last night Washington lost to Toronto, and Boston lost to Phoenix. I guess the Caps and the Bruins have no business thinking about the playoffs either, right?
