sounds like scar tissue is breaking loose. very common for people who have surgery on muscle. its actually a good sign that things have healed.

he'll be able to play once the pain from that goes away.

im not a doctor and no i didnt stay in a holiday express last night

Thank god its not serious (knock on wood). I think we will need him in the playoffs to get that 3rd line and our PP started. Plus I really want Briere and Giroux to get some more time together...I think it will be good for Giroux's development.

Nodl was promoted (now listed on the Flyers' official roster).

Per Tim P., expected line changes:
Andreas Nodl with Riley Cote and Darroll Powe.
Claude Giroux will center Dan Carcillo and Arron Asham.
Biron to start.

Cote should just go stand in front of the net. Let Nodl and Powe to the rest. I don't want to see the puck on Cote's stick ever.

Those were the 2 lines they practiced with today if I remember correctly.

Associated Press is saying Briere could be back Tuesday.

I like Nodl. I dig I dig.

Is Gratton still hurt? Maybe we could just send Cote down and keep Gratton up.

It seemed like he grew a foot taller when he was on the ice with Carcillo and Asham. He was hitting everything.

Those lines will hopefully workout well. Carcillo/Giroux/Asham looked good in spurts yesterday.

I kinda like that thrid line. maybe the additional grit will help us in the play offs. it got us into the ECF cause we got matched up with soft teams.

In the video on the flyers website of Briere explaining the situation, he seems extremely disappointed. Kinda feel bad for him but he needs to know when he is truly 100%

Hopefully Carter,Richards,Hartnell etc...Goals from the 3rd line would be a bonus but I'll look more forward to them keeping the puck out of our end.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Carcillo scoring the way he did towards the end of the season last year when everyone thought he was for sure to break out into that 20-30 goal scorer this year.

im ok with that - at least Giroux doesn't have to play with clear-cut 4th liners. Both his wingers do have some skill and *******s like Talbot won't take runs without fear of a punch in the throat. I'd still like to see Cote scratched in favor of some Phantom - why not Maroon? is he clearly not ready? Can't Stevens tell him just to stay back and when in doubt to chip it out or his ass goes back between periods?

I was thinking the same thing - always liked Asham ever since he pounded on Richards his first couple years but never acted like a dick, never punched him when he was down and was always like "good fight rookie you're lucky I didn't kill you...."
