Since I'm not able to watch the game, I started pondering. Now that I'm pulling for us to make the playoffs, any hunch what it might take Jarmo and company to land Paajarvi if we finish as the 7th or 8th seed? Would our 2009 mid-first-rounder.... plus..... a 2nd rounder OR a player like a Palushaj get it done? Don't hate too much!

Whether it be MSP, Schroeder, Cowen, Kane, etc, since we are so deep with prospects, I think an aggressive strategy on draft day would be good if we really like the player.

If we make the playoffs, our pick will be no better than #15; It's going to take a lot to go from 15 to 3.

We blew it. What a shocker!

Flippin' Overtime.

We can still get 2 points, but after that catastrophe we don't deserve 2 points.

The announcer on KMOX said that Boyes got the goal off the crotch of the post. Not exactly sure what that means.

Picture the post and the crossbar as two legs. At least, that's the only thing I can think of that would make sense.

Please tell me this wakes Boyes from his coma. We need him now more than ever!

He is streaky. Hopefully this is the beginning.

I also hope Berglund gets it going. Rookies tend to be very streaky also so I am not worried at all about his progress. I just know we will need his offense down the stretch.

I think he probably meant Crossbar. He said crossbar right afterward.

Oh man, that was a hell of a shot by Boyes! If you only listened to the game....you need to find the highlights. It was high class.

Anyone else notice Perron being more physical the past while. He's making some hits, pushing guys around. (Of course, he gets pushed around, too, since he's not exactly a big guy.) But I like seeing him play that way.

These 2 points were sorely needed. Also nice to see the veteran leaders on the scoreboard. Tomorrow night's game is going to be important, too. Let's go on another 3 game win streak.
