Now that Pleky has flourish with A.Kost... He's stuck with Kovalev haha. If I were Carbo, I would put Kovalev on the third line with Lapierre. Both don't pass the puck.

And, Kostopoulette on the third instead of D'ago

As last !

It was about time Carbo realized that A.Kost. has been playing like scrap since being back with Mr.Lazy.

MaxPac is a perfect fit for a duo of player that never go dirty in front of the net or along the boards.

Higgins is back to the place he belong: with support player in a defensive role.

Dandy back to the D ! Good idea ! The way our D as been playing, we can't do worst with him can't we ?

yes carbo was on the ice and couldn't score...

It's not the coaches fault Plecks couldn't lift the puck. I am in no way defending carbo, but your statement is totally irrelevant to what a coach can do for a team. he cant score goals.

Now if carbo changed the lines on the PP, maybe mixed up his talent to see who could play with who, maybe that would help instead of changing 5 on 5 lines(which I am proud of him for not doing for the first time in his career when the team was down)

Well, it's a good start but those lines won't be like this by the end of the first, G-U-A-R-A-N-T-E-E-D.

even if they do suck, you can't judge lines by one game, this needs to last at least 4 games...

Finally! Good lines for once... Though, I bet you that he'll be switching back to the old lines if the new ones don't produce anything in the first 2 minutes.

Hopefully for Carbonneau this would work because he doesn't seem to do what everyone should expect: put Kovalev on a line centered by someone else than Koivu or Plekanec. This would give three great lines, and Kovalev could be the playmaker of a line where he would play with to guys that could drive the net. But I guess Aliocha ego wouldn't accept to play on a "third line"...

Tanguay-Koivu-D'Agostini
Pacioretty-Plekanec-A.Kostitsyn
Higgins-Lapierre-Kovalev
Stewart-Metropolit-Kostopoulos

FINALLY!

Exactly the lines I proposed yesterday, except I had Kostopoulos and D'Agostini switched.

Hopefully Carbo will keep them like that for more then a period...

It's a checking line. Nobody on that line can actually score.

make any line combo you want, but there are too many players on this roster that cant win puck battles... puck posession is always a challenge with this squad...

He's just faking us out, the lines are inversed and the 4th line is actually the first line.
