If the deal meant that he would receive $2 million immediately (which is what it sounds like) then he'd benefit and not lose. This was really dumb on Sidney's part. He was guaranteed $2 million. If the league folds (and it's looking worse everday) Sid gets $2 million to play junior this year. What a stupid decision.
