Basically a win would leap frog us over carolina, montreal and florida? or at least would get us tied with them.

I'm planning on watching this one at my uncle's house tomorrow -- going over there a little bit earlier than their family wants us to get there 'cause I want to make sure I don't miss any of it.

Crossing my fingers for a point. Don't let me down, guys.

Over MTL and CAR, yes, but not FLA, they'd have the season series tie breaker.

Hey guys just wondering, what kind of reception do you think Avery will get? I suspect huge cheers.

Henrik with a 9-2-2 record and 1.34 GAA career-wise against the B's.

This is the third straight season which the Rangers are playing Boston in desperate need of points and Henrik alwasy came up big.

I think it'll be a low scoring game. We shut them down in their own building (under a different system obviously) and we were pretty much one stupid turnover away from maybe beating them.

Just look out for Girardi. I am sure Boston has scouted our team and their speedsters will blow by him if he doesn't wake up.

being that we played at our second home on the Island last game, Avery already got his reception. Huge cheers, and Avery chants throughout the game including his first shift and after the game.

if we play like we have been, I don't see why we don't win. We'll need to play with more intensity IMO than we did against the Isles but that was basically Bridgeport...hard to get up for a game like that.

Much different Boston team than of years past. They have noticeably better depth than us, and Thomas is having a career year (it's too bad it came when he's already 35 though). I think Washington, Philly and NJ are all as good or better though.

Going to be a big test, especially since this team has been nothing short of dreadful in afternoon games this season.

Wow. I just took a look at our remaining schedule. The last "easy" game we have is at Atlanta. After that game it gets ugly.

Looking at that schedule I can right now GUARANTEE losses at Montreal and Pittsburgh. The rest are up in the air.

I'll tell you what: if we get into the playoffs, this team will have most definitely deserved it.

This team needs to be relentless. Stuff goals down their enemies throat!

No mercy for boston!

I think this schedule will help us. If we make the playoffs playing that schedule, I think we have a chance in beating any team best out of 7.

I agree. That's what helped us in the playoffs in 2007 and 2008, I think.
