Something along the lines of: " As a former hockey player, this team makes me mad, it's been weeks and you never know which team you are gonna get at every game. They show glimpse of being very good and beat teams they shouldn't, then they play very bad. It makes me mad. This team has no identity."

Something like that, don't fully remember.

Joel is one of the better commentators.

He said he was mad because the habs are showing glimpses of good play and then are playing pretty poorly. The team has no identity. They dont have good games and bad games. They come out strong and all off the sudden they stop putting in effort, every game since the last little while

I will never forget when he crumpled up his papers and said that the game cannot be analyzed.

He's absolutely right. This team has no leadership.

It is a very fragile team - mentally and physically. No way they gonna make the playoffs.

A fragile team with a fragile coach. That's why teams needs hard-nose coachs so that whatever happens you feel like the guy is in charge no matter what and there will never be a problem even if there's a couple of losses. Carbo always seem weak and you see his cluelessness in his face whey they lose.

He's so good in the media , but I would like him as our D-men coach right now ! Or Eric Desjardins who is no longer hired by Philadelphia.

I agree with you. The last thing I want to see is Brisebois behind the bench as a coach. Hiring one of these two guys would be a much better ideas

hahaha true. he has done the crumple more than once. I really like the addition of Joel to the panel for several reasons:
-the ridiculously overboard mutual admiration between him and Jaques is so funny at times ("mon defenseur ici")
-His expressions
-His non-stop pessimism (which is funny, cuz it really never ends)
-His quotes (t'as frappe le bozo sur le nez coach, the "dans la tete" percentage one)
-As a commentator, as stated above, coming to the conclusion that he has no conclusion about 30% of the time

i dont know if carbo understands the physical side of the game.. i mean hes always said he doesnt believe in intimidation to win and would rather rely on speed and skill.. but werent we beaten by a stronger and more physical FLyers team last year? and to me it looks like this is starting to happen now. I don't think u need a team of goons to win games, u just need a coach he encourages a more physical style of play.
we also needed someone to run over patrick lalime after price got run right through in buffalo.. i was surprised no one did anything.

Team spirit is at its lowest right now. So much crap hidden that we don't know about. This team has to be dismentled and re-built. It's gonna happen anyway with 10 UFA'S flying away next July.

isnt that the hallmark of a young team?

Joel and Jacques are an hilarious duo. I love'em haha. Can't say as much as the fools on L'Antichambre and 110% though. The two I loathe the most are the 2 dudes doing Info sports I think, Le Baron and the dude with dark hair. Those two are annoying as ****.

Me too. I'd put him on the broadcast team instead of Brunet without any hesitation.
