I think Carbo is thinking a couple of things here. Firstly he is hoping that his team can score the 1st goal of the game. Price played well last game, but it was against Atlanta and Kovalchuk had 1 shot. I suppose he is hoping that Price can get his 1st win in awhile and become the goalie he was. However, how can one argue that Halak has looked sharp, composed, square to the shooter and lighting quick? Is he afraid that Halak is rusty after being sick? I am quite shocked about how much disrespect he is showing to Jaroslav Halak. Hopefully Halak understands.

Go Habs go!!

And we just lost Halak, folks.

Hope Carey does well, but horrible decision in my opinion.

Rangers win. Our playoff chances are looking more and more lousy with each day. What a disaster of a season..

TBH, this team has sucked since the ASG and any other coach would have been canned by now. By keeping Carbo and not moving at the trade deadline, we threw our season away.

Carbo is brutal. He doesn't take any responsibility for his role in this epic fail either. His view is "our team is just not that good"..

Just have such a sick feeling about this game. Even though the Stars have been depleted by injury all year, they are an extremely hard working outfit. This is exactly the type of team we will lose to. I'm starting to think that we won't make the playoffs, and this will be the game that will push us out.

I think Stars win 4-1, Ribeiro getting the last laugh on his former employer. Plekanec will continue is good play, and will pot a meaningless goal. I hope I'm not right, and we break out of this slump for good.

I like the decision to go with Price (seems like I may be the only one though) he had a good game against Atlanta and deserves the start. He needs to come out of this slump and he's not going to do that sitting on the bench. It's a tough situation because both deserve the start so no matter what decision Carbonneau made it would be unfair to the other goalie.

As much as I like that idea, Bégin plays for Dallas now, he's not going to help us anymore.

I mean he's likely going to request a trade in the off-season, as the plans here don't involve him at all. He always seemed to be getting fleeced by the organization.

Halak hasn't started since the San Jose game, arguably his best performance of the season. There doesn't seem to be a lot of reason or rhyme to the win-and-you're-in formula.

Dallas wins 4-1. We give up over 35 shots against. Begin scores, Ribs 2 assists, Guy thinks it was a good effort.

I don't think even he thought he'd wind up as starter over Price looking toward the future. But it would be nice if he continued to play lights out and we could use him as currency in a deal for a centre or whatever.
