I don't care if Otts hand is broken that doesn't mean he gets to run around on that fine line even crossing it only to get away with it. if he wants to play that way he better stand up and take a beating ,because not doing so makes him a gutless punk imo.

Why does RDS talk about the Ribs/Leclair/Roy ect trade ? Pretty much pointless if you ask me.

Let it go already

Im thinking we need new avatars. Something about drowning, or driving to hell. Something that just says "we are headed for the *******"

Didn't Modano come out and say earlier in the season that he doesn't like these kind of plays (Ott) on his team? They get rid of Avery and hatch his clone. Ott can run around all game at guys like Koivu and Kovalev but skilled players on the Stars shouldn't be surprised if they are targeted as well. You reap what you sow.

Ott is an incredible hockey player..

He's exactly the type of player we need, but will never have.

What good we can get out of this Hab team over the years is usually squandered or proves to be not built to last. How else to explain all the failed player developments, players who thrive elsewhere and inability to string more than two good seasons together? The Habs of post-1993 have on average missed the playoffs once every two seasons. Inexcusable? Sure. Expected? Yep.

How Ott is allowed to get away with the head shots and charging baffels my mind!

Thank god Stewart took things into his own hands and put that piece of trash in his spot, will someone else hammer his @$$ into the glass already and injure him?

Yes I said injure, that is his style so give him a taste.

Everyone on this team owes Stewart a handshake and a beer...lets see if they wake up from his stepping up.

The reffing is so oneside it is blatten and obvious...and big suprise it is Mr. "Hairdo" Fraser!!!

Price playing well, team needs to follow and step up now too.

Say what you will about him, but Steve Ott is good at what he does. However he's been throwing his hits today with his hands and stick up. He's got the Habs off their game, but the ref should have called the hit on Gorges right before the Stewart fracus that broke out. Both gloves went right to the head and his stick was way up in the air. That's pretty reckless and he should have to answer for it. The guy's not going to fight though, he has the hand injury as an excuse. So there's no reason to try, unless the score gets out of hand, then somebody should just tee off on him. The thing that's a piss off about him is he will square up and make it look like he's going to fight (like he did with Kostopolous) out of hopes that he will get the other guy to drop the gloves and draw the penalty. That's a ***** maneuver as far as I'm concerned.

Ribeiro is chirping up a storm tonight. I'd love to see someone shut him up.

Why people are saying Gainey is going to help behind the bench makes no sense to me.

Carbo and his staff are clones of Gainey so nothing changes.

We need to get away from this system because the majority of players on this team don't play this style.

I'd like that to.. I'm not going to support Carbo, but even with Bob behind the bench.. these guys just don't care.

Carbo is a horrible coach.. don't get me wrong.. but the team has absolutely no heart.

The only thing that made me happy about the first period were the 3 brutal giveaways by Ribeiro.

I'm not sure either will have the offensive potential that Ott has.. he's got 33 points in 47 games this year.

Forgot to mention that our only shot was a scoring chance from 40 feet away.
