Well I said 3-2 but very close and I am happy with this one. I can only hope they can string another 4-5 in a row to solidify their playoff position.

When's the last time we won in Dallas? Who cares, we won this time and it was a must-win. This was probably the second true must-win lately and we've taken them both (this and the 5-3 win vs. Ottawa). We need to take this and replicate it at home where we've been good offensively but giving up too many bloody shots. I'd love for BOTH Price and Halak to give us their best going forward. These games in hand on teams around us must be taken advantage of. Wow, talk about your wild swings. A loss and we're 9th, a win and we're 5th again. So here we are in 5th again!

Tanguay, Koivu AK46...actually look like a 1st line tonight...lots of chances. If this line stays together for a while, it will be dynamite.

I hope Carey Fraser gets freaking diarrhea for a month...what a horrible game...they give us 8 freaking penalities in a row in the 1st, then let Dallas get away with everything the last 30 minutes and call some nothing slash on Komisarek at the end.

Very strong game by the defense, limiting Dallas to not a lot of shots despite like 10 PP's. Price was solid but he had only 2-3 tough saves to make, most shots were from outside.

Yeah, taking 65 games to realize Andrei Kostitsyn can't play with Kovalev and is actually a right wing deserves applause...
And Halak should get the next start, Price has had 3 straight and you need to use Halak while he's still on a roll.

You're nuts! He's played 67 regular season games with them and has 59 points. He also had 15 points in their 18 playoff games. Thats not a bust, he's performing as expected for them!

When Tanguay will be back 100%, this line will be excellent...

Big win, guys. Congrats.
Plekanec is back to his former self. Beautiful pass on the breakaway with Kosty.

Carbo 1st game with the Habs as the head coach? I agree with you the team is still very fragile and there is a lot to be done, but a victory will get most likely help with the atmosphere aorund the team.

That's the way it should be until the end of the season.

As for Price, it's good to see him back on track. I hope he learned his lessons and keep training hard.

The Habs now have two young reliable goalies, but they MUST score goals and play their best to make the playoffs.

Carbo may have thought about it before but the guy is just too stubborn to change his lines, and actualy do something about it. Remember when he kept Samsonov with Kovalev all season even though it was not working?
