Tangs-Koivu-Kosty Appreciation Thread

What a threat out there. You can feel Andrei's surge of confidence when he's the go-to guy. I absolutely loved watching them play.

Hire HF.

They had more scoring chances tonight than what A.Kost Pleks Kovy got in their last 5 games.. So its certainly promising.. Personally I would try Higgins with Plekanec and Kovy, I think Maxpac looks a bit tired lately..

it was just 2 good periods... let have them 3 or 4 good performances and they'll deserve an appreciation thread

Dont face palm an appreciation thread, it actually feels refreshing seeing one other than the typical complaining threads which we saw after our recent games.

I wonder how empty the arena is when half the people there aren't Habs fans.

It's hard to tell because sometimes, its Habs fans buying tickets that the team's fans would have purchased. In some cities its obvious that when the Habs come to town the opposing team profits from it, but other times, like when there was like 3,000 Hab fans in Philly, I bet you that those 3,000 tickets would have been picked up by Flyers fans.

We are the New York Yankees of hockey. We got hoes in different area codes.

So the sign says should he stay or should he go.

The answer says Carbonneau, does that mean he shouldnt stay or does it mean he shouldnt go?

This line showed more in 12 minutes than ATAK has shown all year.

Aside from Markov... Tanguay, Koivu and Kostitsyn are the 3 best passers on the team IMO. Every pass is crisp and precise. They can all skate and move the puck. And now the 2 best playmakers have somebody on his correct wing to finish plays. Although Akost was noticeably rusty last night, nobody had passed him the puck in a couple weeks.

I LOVE Tanguay and Kostitsyn together. Pure awesomeness. Hopefully they can keep it up.

It's not the Tanguay-Koivu-AKost that I like..

It's the Tanguay-AKost tandem! They seemed to play together for the last 50 games. They were creating chances. Koivu was good too...because of the 2 others haha

Akost will probably score a ton with Saku and Tanguay, 2 guys who dont shoot the puck. Yesterday they were setting up AKost from everywhere on the ice.

It must be weird for AK46, going from never having the puck to being given golden opportunities whenever he hits the ice. Considering he's probably our best sniper, this bodes well.
