Second Chance en Acadie

Titan stays in Bathurst
Mr. Léo-Guy Morrissette announced in a press conference this afternoon that he will retire from his responsibilities as president of the Acadie-Bathurst Titan and relinquishes control of the team to his children, Annie Morrissette-Hébert and Stéphane Morrissette.

Annie Morrissette-Hébert and Stéphane Morrissette will further acquire the franchise and will keep it in Bathurst.

Mr. Morrissette's transcript is available in the linked document below.

I am for one very happy that the community & the ownership were able to come together and ensure Le Titan stays in Bathurst. If I lived in the community, I would be urging my city council to add a First right of refusal clause in the lease agreement.

One down, one to go. I hope the business community & ownership in Lewiston can come to an agreement as well.
