Good man, jnthomas - thanks for stepping up! This the is the 2nd game in a row where the GDT schedule has failed us...

Habs will have an offensive explosion tonight, I think ( I hope! )

I like these lines. D'Agostini proved himself to be a great finisher in his first 10 games and then lost his momentum as soon as Koivu and Tanguay got injured. Gainey is playing him on the top six to see what he can do for the last 16 games and see if he is worth resigning next year for cheap.

Pacioretty will go down to Hamilton once Latendresse is back. Pacioretty needs top six ice time, and he won't get it by being on the box.

Like the lines and defence pairings, would have preferred Halak start but no biggie.

Also looking forward to seeing Tangs Koivu AKost again tonight, Andrei pots 2, book it.

GO HABS!

Start it fresh for Bob, Kovalev on the left side is intriguing....I guess BG liked the way he scored on Turco against Dallas from the left.

Thanks. I hope the guys win tonight or I'm going to blame it on my lackluster GDT luck

I like the lines, as everyone says, no problem with a tired Patches who has looked much quieter the last few games taking a seat tonight. Dandy will bring intensity and speed to the fourth line, he is fine there. I like moving Schneider down and Komi back up. Gives another pairing someone to help make a break out play. Hammer and Komi were not doing so well together, now Markov can move the puck on that pair and Schneider on his. Hammer and O'byrne may struggle with puck movement, but hopefully they play well together as they have before. D'Ago will hopefully play a strong game with the big boys. Plekanec was fantastic last game and hopefully just as good tonight.

Anxious for the game tonight, can't wait to see how the guys respond. I loved Carbo and I'll miss him, but I'm also excited to see what a shake up will produce. I trust Gainey and I like bringing in Lever. Of course this is all talk until tonight. If they come out flat tonight then shame on them, and apologies to Carbo all around because if this doesn't motivate them then they truly must be beyond help.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who thinks that D'Agostini IS now better than Pacioretty.
Once Latendresse returns, it would be great to see 3 offensives lines:

Tanguay - Koivu - D'Ago
S Kost - Plek - A Kost
Pax - Higgins - Kovalev
Tender - Lapierre - Kosto

Bob looks pissed there, lol.

Thats another thing to watch for...Gainey with emotion behind the bench, the guy gets to show us what he's made of.

I for one am super excited for the game tonight, feels like a clean start.

Thanks for making the GDT dude, appreciated. One thing I will say though, if certain mods of the past hadn't basically gone out of their way to alienate HarryI (formerly habs911) we wouldn't have GDT issues.

Two things i want to see tonight:

-The 4th line playing no more than 8 mins and be strictly an energy line

-Use our speed to pressure the puck carrier in all zones, no more standing around Carbo style...

Bob makes me feel safe. If I were still scared of the boogeyman and monsters under my bed, I'd hang this picture in my room and I'd sleep tight. I have so much faith in this man it's ridiculous.

Does firing Carbo mean the end of the line for Brisebois?

I hope he gets 1 more game just so he can get his 1000 game. But after that, I won't be sad if he doesn't have to play.
