If he could use his slapper more then his wrister I'll be happy. I've always thought that he was losing a half-second everytime he was trying his wristshot.

He'll be playing on the RW and Kovy on the LW.

I wanted this line a while ago, Carbo never gave it to me, now Gainey does

Dags - Plek - Kovy

but Gainey gave me Kovy - Plek - Dags.

Good enough, but i think Dags with his right hand shot on LW would be better.. Like AK46 left hand shot on RW.

Bof, last few goals from Dago if memory serves me correct came mostly from the slot so it shouldn't make a difference. Kovy on the left will sure have to work more though.

I like the defensive pairings.

Komi back Markov is good news to me.

Pacioretty is a scratch.

I like your style Bob,

I like the Kovy stategie, it's hasn't work to well with Kovy on the right side this year, why not try the left side, it might work and it might confuse the oilers D for a shift or 2.

I like the D pairing a lot to, bring back Komi with markov, they prouved in the past to be a really great pair and it might get Komi back to his game.

I didn't like how much Carbo was using Shneider, he was bamking to many minutes and that was hurting him and the team. With him playing with Gorges, he will play 16-17 min with a very reliable partner

Good job Billly bob

Not sure about the second line, but I love putting Markov and Komisarek back together. I think it was clear that Hamrlik and Komisarek didn't mesh well together.

MaxPac is not really a good fit on the fourth line, especially if Gainey intends not to roll the lines like Carbo did. One of him and d'Ago is going to end up in Hamilton soon anyways.

Besides, having the rookie or the vet rover on the 4th line is not going to make our break the lineup. The lines are otherwise fine.

There has also been some rumblings over on HabsInsideOut saying that MaxPac could potentially have a small injury, other then looking a little tired. Someone said it may have looked like he had a small limp after a collision against Dallas.

If he's tired, or even a little injured then this is a good move to me.

I also really like Daggers, He's a natural goal scorer and I wasn't a big fan of seeing him on the 3rd or 4th line the other night. I find he works better with one of our top lines, you know? And yes, he does need work on his defensive skills.

I like what I see in the line's. I agree with the Markov/Komi playing, but I'm happy that according to HabsInsideOut Schnidy will still be a top D in our PP.

I'm always yelling SCHNIDY FROM THE LINE! When he's out there.

I'm excited to see what happens tonight.

GO HABS GO!

Great lines. Tanguay with AK46 is a great combo.
Komisarek with Markov sounds good to me!
Is it Price or Halak in nets!? Does anyone know yet? With gainey it must be Price, which is fine by me!

Hmm. I thought Brisebois would play (not that I'm complaining).

Is this because we're now a bubble team and can't afford to not ice our best possible lineup?

Or does Gainey want the storm to calm before Brisebois' landmark game so as to avoid a potentially embarrassing situation?

Another option if Metropolit does not impress anyone is to move Higgins to 3rd line centre, and put Patches at LW.

Then again Lats will be back soon and a decision will have to be made between Lats, Patches, Dags, Dandenault and Stewart

I like seeing Schneider moved to the third pairing, 5 on 5 he has not looked superb. Hopefully moving Komisarek to the top pair will wake him up a bit.
Schneider on the 3rd pairing makes lots of sense. The guy is 39 and was playing like 24 minutes a game. he should not play more than 18-20 - includiing PP time.

Hopefully, Komisarek gonna wake up with Markov.

Gainey will make sure his team makes the playoffs before giving another game to Brisebois. Unless, of course an injury occur, or one of the D-Man is playing really bad.

Right ! No needs to rush a rookie who never played more than 40 games per year .

Time for veteran players to wake up and show their stuff.

That MaxPac is scratch this game or next, I can't care less about it. Normal process for any player, especially a young kid. Just that I found funny that Carbo was criticized badly for it the last time he did not so long ago, period where MaxPac looked just as much tired and wasn't scoring either.

Oddly, my favorite part is that our 4th line is finally made up of 4th line players. And our scoring lines are made of scorers. And the checking line is full of 2-way guys.

An actual identity!!!

That's because nobody really liked Carbo. He was terrible.

I like it.

AK46 still with Tanguay and Koivu

Kovalev on LW should be interesting.

And I like the D pairings.

Good job Bob

Great lines especially on the D. Schneider will have less ice time, less responsibility at 5 vs 5, he will be able to concentrate is energy on the powerplay. And it gives Gorges a solid veteran to play with.

Markov and Komi back together is an excellent idea too. Those two always played solid hockey together.
