Can someone please change the title so Ranger fans don't have a heart attack when they log on

Yeah, this is the time of year when all the crap goes around.

Hopefully he didn't eat at a shady seafood restaurant...

You should tell your colleagues you think they have mono.

Too late...

I read that and think "stomach bug", so how the hell it comes to speculating mono is ridiculous. He may have it, he may not, but to write that off the back of what sounds like a stomach bug is a bit silly.

haha, I know you are joking, but Luongo did miss the start of OT in an elimination game because of diarrhea.

Or it is serious and he is just trying to tough it out. If he is truly sick I say we call up wiikman and put Vally between the pipes. We don't need to jeopardize our teams franchise goalie for the rest of his career for a 3 week playoff push.

Was that against Dallas in the first round? In that case it might have been 4 OT.

Why are we even discussing this?

Its coming from a BLOG with absolutely NO credibility.

We should know better than to post a new thread out of pure speculation with Injury "report" in the title.

No disrespect to you 94now... im just saying in general... I hate those new thread tags - when you see it on there you automatically think its "official" news

Nothing I love more than the HF standard bi-polar, paranoia driven doomsday posts that follow even the most insignificant pieces of news. "Season's over." Haha. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!AAAAAAAAAAAAAAKJLKJLKJLKJJKHJKHAHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

too funny. all the doctors on this site.

um, throwing up isnt a symptom of mono. swollen glands in neck, killer throat infection and tender side near spleen area are all symptoms of mono.

this sounds to me like a bad bug. a stomach virus that he cant kick. these things can go away quickly and hell just need to keep hydrated and start eating soon.

without hank, were doomed so lets all hope he gets his strength back soon

yea, mono doesnt cause vomiting, it does make you weak though. Sounds like the best course of action that could be taken would be for him to rest for a few days and stay away from hockey but due to the time of the season he will have to play through it.

yup.

if it were mono, which is isnt with those symptoms, he would be done. period.

you cannot play hockey with mono. his spleen could rupture and his life would be in peril. when you have mono, as my son had last year- hes a college lax player, you are done with sports for like 6 weeks.

I had mono, i wouldn't wish it on anyone.

It never leaves your system either, you have it the rest of your life.

If you're not careful, you can get a relapse. Meaning, if you don't eat well, and don't get proper rest.
