We got beat by a poor AHL team tonight - ALL of our offense comes from our D - what the heck - who are we kidding - we suck - we are re-builders once again !!

Hope the Canadiens make it, but more sentimental than deservedly.
Yeah but that's the NHL every season. That crap can happen for non-playoff teams that had awful starts. Usually teams who started well and collapse don't do well in March (see 02-03 Habs) while teams who start terrible play with nothing to lose (see 99-00 Habs and even the 00-01 Habs played .500 hockey after January. We were spoilers at that point ourselves).

Wow, like clockwork. Why pick on one guy when clearly the whole team is to blame? Forget it. It's another crappy game vs. a crappy opponent but we're just another team who loses to Atlanta or the Isles (we're not alone on that as much as people want to believe we're the only ones who suck against "easy" opponents). More Price bashing I will not give the time of day.

Now watch them give the Devils all they can handle (mind you we'll lose because the Devils are our kryptonite). Typical Habs sadly. Middle of the pack and deservedly so. As much as Price has been improving, I'd much rather have Halak in net Saturday so we can prevent Marty getting closer to history.

That's the thing, we might probably be the best team on the ice Saturday.. and lose because of Marty.

I agree that we are a middle team. We are in the confrence spot that we deserve.

What pisses me off the most is the fact that they never learn. They repeat the same mistakes over and over again. Does the coaching staff never tell them that?

This is a game that Kovy would love. Islanders gave us so much space at times.. and he's a guy that would take total advantage of that.

People who say Kovalev isnt useful.. gtfo.

It's not so much coaching as it is the players. These aren't very pro-active guys. None of them makes you think of the phrase "Taking the bull by the horns." Lots of skill, not much grit. It always takes our few heart and soul guys to get the big goals (see Kosto and Koivu recently). You don't build your team around complimentary offensive guys like Kovalev, Tanguay or even Lang while draft similar types like the Kostitsyns, Plekanec, etc. Add in a weak, slumping D and you've got our Habs.

He did fine against the Isles in the previous two hook-ups. And yet we still nearly lost them in that 5-4 comeback win and lost 4-3 in a SO in the O'Byrne own goal game. So, Kovy or no Kovy we leave so many easy points on the table.

What is the over/under on the Habs getting 7 shots for the entire against the Devils on Saturday...

Maybe they will surprise us and show up...They should be desperate for points so you never know...

Did you all notice that we were outshot by 10 shots by the worst team in the league? WTF is goin on, from the parts I was able to watch Price played ok. We can't get up for a game we should win?
If any one here is blaming Price they should GTFO. Where was Koivu tonight? We don't score on a 5 on 3? Carbonneau did not change up the lines?(just kidding) You guys still think it's the coaches fault or maybe just maybe it is the players?

Tonight was a game they shouldve had especially with some of the other teams they are fighting with lost..... if they miss the playoffs by one point they can look to this game as one that got away....and it was at home to boot

This must mean Devil fans figure their team sucks...or does stuff like that only happen to the Habs and their fans...?
