those are sweet but they tempt me to aim for the mouth/hole... maybe for ray's benefit?

would those be allowed in the NHL?

and he's still playing for the same team he clocked the trainer in the face?

No. No team logos on goalie pads.

Those are awesome. I'm not sure if he could use those or not, I know you can't use corporate logos like Coca-Cola or Pepsi.

Who owns Brians now-a-days anyway? The Brian Heaton companies have been bounced around so much..

Anyway, those are pretty damn nice.

My first set, and backup set...Brian's beasts

I still see them around from time to time.

They are pretty expensive to buy new though. Another company that does custom graphics like that is battram- www.battram.com

Worth a look if you like those custom graphic pads.

I'm not a big fan of Battram, seem to be more about fashion than function, a little too heavy at times. Maybe that's changed.

For low-cost custom, i think Smith is the way to go. smithhockey.com I think.

I'm using Battram's right now, and coming from RBK PSII's, I have nothing but compliments with Battram's craftsmanship. The build is top notch, the pads are lighter and more flexible, and there was absolutely no problem with the transition. Being able to speak directly with Battram to custom build my pads for my height, hand sizes, materials, etc. was a huge bonus for me.

Smith makes a quality pad as well.

LOL, what makes you think that? the fact he got new equipment? Some goalies change their pads 4-5 times during the course of a season. To him, that's like buying a new pair of socks, no big deal. And that's if the team doesnt pay for all his equipment to begin with.

Emery could be and might be back in the nhl as soon as next season for all we know.
