Sanguinetti on the other hand still needs a bit more time. I think now that Staal and Girardi are a couple of years into the league and taking a bit more responsibility, the Rangers could afford to bring in a rookie.
Who needs Sauer when we've got the best value in the league with Redden!!

Oh Sather, what have you done. 6.5 million can buy a lot of goal scoring. You know... what this team actually needs

His problem is that even today he didn't decisively bury some of his chances The Flyer net minder played well, but this guy needs to bury the puck on a consistant basis

If Zherdev's agent is good he'll just go up there and state his client's stats - he'll show how his client's stats are among the leaders on the team, then he'll go through comps and then state how the support on the NYRs was close to nothing with the linemates he had and show how his client early in the season put this team in a position to make a playoff push and how much he was leaned on late in the season because few were producing. That'll get him some money, unfortunately.

Do arbitrators really take most of that stuff under consideration? I was always under the impression that they just look at point totals and a player's age and just compare that to other similar examples around the league.

Did Zherdev think Renney was going to be his coach for next 3-4 years? If Zherdev doesn't want to play for a coach which pushes him, then Zherdev is a ****ing loser and is waste of great talent.

Let them make an insane offer sheet and they can have him.Give up the picks for him.

Larry Brooks is offer sheet happy. He proposed Nigel Dawes might receive an offer sheet last summer. The Rangers would have gotten more for Dawes than they did.

The cap will remain status quo for next season. It could drop by $6-8 million from the current $56.7 million by 2010-11.
