Simon Bertilsson – Alexander Urbom
With Hedman hopefully there the defence top 5 is set in stone, but who should get the remaining spots? IMO we should go with with a couple of big guys, two of Ekholm, Urbom, Andersson, Blomqvist, and Svedberg.

with hedman in tampa, i think karlsson, rundblad, erixon, OEL and bertilsson are locks. urbom should be on the team too. and the 7th will be a hard battle. i'd give it to blomqvist for now.

I'm hoping for a Möller solution, Mårts promise Tampa that Hedman will be captain and they let's him go for the added experience of leading his country to a gold medal.
I don't see what Bertilsson brings to the table with Karlsson, Rundblad, Erixon, and Ekman-Larsson already there. Better bring some grit and size

it's possible, but a different situation IMO. moller was one of many in LA. hedman on the other hand is the new face of the tampa D. they will try to use him to sell tickets. of course "captain of swedish WJC team" sounds marketable too. tough decision.

i think 5 puckmovers and two big guys is fine. with hedman though bertilsson would be out. i think urbom is safe though. he's a nice guy.

On the other hand, Möller got a nasty injury out of it, something you absolutely don't want to happen to a top prospect. But hopefully Tampa can let him go for a couple of weeks, might depend how the start turns out for him/tampa though.

The only way Hedman goes to the juniors is if Tampa is out of the playoffs. Oscar was a 2nd round pick as opposed to Viktor, a 2nd overall pick. He's already in their top 4 four
For anyone that has seen Silfverberg play in person, could they please describe to me the type of player he is?
Thanks!
'Eliteprospects' has a pretty accurate description:
Quote:
Silfverberg is a strong skating two-way forward with good hockey sense. He is a very smart and mature player and is solid both offensively and defensively. Silfverberg has good technical skills and plays with plenty of intensity.
I've seen him a several times and just have to add that he's that kind of player that NEVER gives up – true warrior on the ice...
