wasn't there some kind of conditional pick to the Ducks if Schneider was dealt or was that O'Donnell?

Pretty good GMing by Waddell to turn those 3 hacks into 2/3 of a season of Schneider helping his young team and a 2nd & 3rd round pick.

I heard, that Shane O'Brien is unhappy in Vancouver and he would like to come back to Anaheim. There have been talks and a move could be made in the off-season.

I'd love SOB back, SOB-Brookbank 3rd pairing would be Dirk-sweet. Can't believe we got a 1st for him but he's still young and decent bottom pairing tough guy.

Well as lousy as the season has turned out, at least we don't have a 4.25 million dollar healthy scratch.

Teach him to miss an optional practice.

For a few games after a trade. Hardly unprecedented for that to happen.

A couple days ago, Tangradi got a suspension. For protesting a ref's non-call. Could there possibly have been a more fitting Duck?

Oh, what could have been.

Kunitz seems like the perfect linemate for Crosby. He hits, skates quick, sticks up for teammates (which has been the #1 problem Sid's had IMO), and has decent hands.

For the record, 2 of his goals were pucks that bounced off him.

He played one of his best games ever today. He laid out Chara. Also nailed Wideman. Scored goals 16 second apart for the trick. It was a fun game to watch.

They gave the 2nd goal to Gonchar so only 2+1 for Kunitz.

Funny thing about Kunitz is that he's really been low profile since Guerin joined the line. He broke out a little today, I guess.

Does he fight much? I'm waiting for him to smack somebody around after they take advantage of Crosby, which happens a few times each game.

He doesn't fight often, but he is not afraid to drop the gloves. A great physical player in general.

He doesn't fight so much as attack people who enrage him. He's not a bruiser or anything, and his fights tend to be him being pulled off of whoever he attacked. He jumps people.

He probably averages about 3-4 fights per season, and he isn't a great fighter by any means but he will stick up for teammates when required. He hates Sean Avery if that's any consilation so when the Pens play the Rangers expect a bit of bad blood there. I think they fought the last time Dallas played Anaheim with Avery still on the Stars roster.

And 6 points in 5 games and is 4th on the team behind the "Big 3" for points per game with .61/ppg.
