Never know, if he doesn't get a sweet gig somewhere I can see him being hired as a scout or something. He's still a good guy and a Habs great. Just not our coach.

Carbo is laughing all the way to the bank. He still got a valid two-year contract at about 800,000 $ per year.

Nothing interesting will be said. It will be the same old cliches and he wont say anything about the locker room.. he will just say he had some inexperience and that he somewhat understands why Gainey did what he did.. and he will thank the organization.

Remeber he is still being paid by the organization so if he says anything against the organization.. there goes his money for 2 years.

Not really. They don't have a choice but to pay him. Technically he could say anything he wants and still get his money.

I doubt he says anything shocking, I just want to see what he has to say about his firing, especially his reasoning concerning the team's current state.

Technically with an half a pages napkin contract thats how it would work but its not.

There's no-disclosure clauses, fidelity clauses, not bad mouthing the Habs clause, etc..

It's just common sense, he can't say much and he wont... He knows the Montreal media and fans too well. He's still loved over there and his name is worth too much.

the fact that there's an announcement that he will talk tomorrow means nothing negative will be said

Had he really wanted to air out some grievances, he would've done so already

Look at Barry Melrose

Quote:
The Tampa Bay Lightning ownership group is contemplating filing a charge with the league claiming Barry Melrose breached his contract when he spoke out Tuesday against his former team.

If the Lightning go ahead and the league supports the claim, they can than refuse to pay Melrose the remaining $2.25M owed on his 3-year deal.
