BTW, who was it that hit Korpikoski with a knee that wasn't called in the 1st period?

I'm usually not one to call out the refs, but the officiating in Montreal has always been terrible. Very questionable last night - the trip by Staal, hook by Korpikoski, those things were happening all night, way to let them play

I think it was Max Pacioretty, although possibly D'Agostini.

if this was covered before, forgive me -

Should Metropolit get any time for his head shot on Avery?

Aves got elbowed straight in the chops... so a minor for elbowing should've been called, for sure.

Yes, at the very least. I wonder if C. Campbell will look at it as a head shot?

Without his ****-up, we don't giftwrap the Habs a point.

First off, that shouldve been a save by Henke, then none of this would be a problem.

When Renney was here it was 'We sit back and wait for teams to tie the game' and now Drury gets abuse for still trying to attack on offense late in the game. Can't have it both ways.

I liked that he was still aggressively pursuing the oppurtunity even though he didn't get the puck deep.

The last 3 years we have slumped over christmas and then been a top 1-3 team in the league for the last 25 games or so. All thoose slumps where pretty severe too and we were in a worse position all thoose 3 seasons then we were this season.

Without Torts this season we were 7 games over .500.

I have a hard time seeing why we would loose every single game without Torts for the rest of the season. After every win someone says "without Torts we loose 5-1". We have also added Antropov, Avery and Morris, while removing our 2 smallest players.

I agree his turnovers are brutal, and he's got me yelling at the tv every game.

But.. his scoring chances are improving and he seems to be gaining more confidence every game. I think hes still pressing too much. His shot was nice and low for Antropov to pot the rebound and he sure looked relieved on the so goal. I'm keeping fingers crossed he becomes clutch again if we make playoffs

I'm gonna agree with Bluenote, Jon. If Hank makes the routine save like he should have, we don't gift wrap the Habs a point.
