25% bodyfat?

Did you see this guy play? He takes hits from the biggest d-men on the other team and they just bounce off him. If he was fat I doubt he'd be so strong on his skates. Either you have no clue or you know nothing about hockey.

Lats and Laps have serious, serious chemistry. I'm not sure if it would work but maybe slide andrei kostitsyn to that line to get his feet moving because he has all the talent in the world just seems to be following kovalev a little too much.

I would try.

Latendresse-Lapierre-Kostitsyn
Tanguay-Koivu-Higgins
Pacioretty-Plekanec-Kostopolous
Kovalev-Metropolit-D'Agostini

Markov-Weber
Komisarek-Gorges
Hamrlik-Schneider

Halak

Lapierre For Mvp !!!

I can`t say enough about the play of LaPierre this year.He had a poor Oct but after a few games eating popcorn he REALLY picked it up and has not looked back.Man o man i wish the more talented lines had his heart and desire to win......imop,we have too many European players that don`t give a flyin` *^$! about the cup ! we need more Canadian guys on the team PERIOD !!! LaPierre has really blown me away with his hustle, hitting ,defensive play and wining faceoffs.
Way to go !!!

lapierre could win the 4th star of the year... But who's gonna win the first three ? No one deserves one of the top three. Maybe Markov... Halak ??

Maxim Lapierre has impressed me all season long. If everyone gave the effort that he does on the ice every night this team would be in a much better place right now.
I hope hes with the team for a long time

GO HABS GO!

With Markov and Halak, they are the only reason left to watch the remaining games this season. The rest of the shifts are horrible to watch and really boring.

I wonder where is that "Saint 96" poster who said that lats didnt bring much to the table and basically said that we didnt need him?

Latendresse is the key to this line. He does all the work in the corner, makes space for Lapierre who looks like a different guy with Lats on is left. I cant wait to see Lats at 25. He will probably be our best goal scorer with A Kost.

hey wuts up im right here ya i can admit when someone plays well, and lats did. good job lats. He usually has his one or two good game and then doesnt do much afterwards. lets see if he can continue the way he played yesterday. If he can. well all the better.... best goal scorer?? i highly doubt it

I was thinking the same thing. We need to get AK going, and playing with Lats and Laps might be the way to do it.

Pacioretty-Plekanec-Kovalev
Higgins-Koivu-Tanguay
Latendresse-Lapierre-AKostitsyn
D'Agostini-Metropolit-Kostopoulos

Lats is key for another reason: he has real offensive talent, certainly more so than Lappy and Kosto. Without him it's purely a grinding, checking line. With him it's much more of an offensive threat, not just because he makes Lapierre better, but also because Lats himself is a pretty good scorer.

BTW, with last games' goals, Lats would project to 20 goals over an 82-game season. Not bad, for a guy with only 3 PP points. I keep repeating he's one of our most effective even-strength scorers...

Whoaaa, that's a bit of a stretch. I do think he will be a great player down the line if he uses his size properly, but to say he'll even be close to Andrei is unrealistic. IMO, he'll probably be a solid 20 goal scorer with decent linemates, with a roof of 30.

That line could do well in the playoffs. If Pacioretty and Kostitsyn could somehow get it going, the Habs might actually make it past the first round.

I`ve been satisfied with latendresse this year. He plays with more fire and has learned how to use his size to his advantage especially when maintaining the puck. I often go on about puck battles, and this is a guy who has no problem winning them.

In addition, although he`s not the greatest skater, he`s using his feet alot more rather than gliding.

I`m just happy that he is indeed progressing and able to learn how to be a better hockey player with more and more experience.

I also find it strange that lapierre`s game has suddenly re-elevated since latendresse`s return despite not being on the same line together for a couple games.

This guy is a keeper because he brings so many things to the table that most of our guys are incapable or unwilling to do.

Way to go Gui.
