IF, and i say IF, they come out and play a real stinker and lose again, I think we're done. If they come out and play well, get a win and get some momentum going, i think we'll be ok. Jaro is gonna have to steal the show tonight though.

Dood, this is the Leaves.. We will beat them.. Ya know?

A team can suck but they have some respect for themselves, I think..

They currently stand at a 78% probability of making the playoffs

I doubt a loss tonight drops our odds to zero

Mathematically no, but after all this ******** if you can't win at home against the Toronto Maple Leafs...it'd say a lot about the next 2-3 weeks.

Wouldn't it be a better idea, if the entire team stole the win, instead of depending on the goaltender?

They're done. Doesn't matter what happens over the next two periods, their goose is cooked.

I really hope we don't make the playoffs. Serious changes need to be made

Concur.
This was the cup run team, but the wheels have come off. They're done, most of the free agents won't be back...rebuilding, again, next year.

Na na na na. na na na na, hey hey hey, good bye....

That's what I was thinking.
The way Montreal , Florida and Buffalo are playing right now, Ottawa still have a shot at it (even the Leafs).

Ottawa is red hot right now.
They win 8 of their last 10 (possible) and they finish with 88.

Not sure Montreal will be able to get 7 points in their last 10.

That sure would be funny to see.

Ok it's unlikely but yet not totally impossible.

Relax, stop worrying about this club before it kills you, i already did a few weeks ago (you should try, it's less painful, even if you can't completely stop to care). This club is not yet eliminated, and most probably will make the playoffs... but it will change absolutely nothing, excepts maybe a worst draft pick, as it is well known that we can't win, neither get a high pick.

I'd call it the "in between" syndrom, or complex, whatever. We still stay in the middle of the pack because... well because we're in the middle of the pack. Refusing to lose badly is refusing to draft high. Middle draft picks usually brings to middle results, that bring you back to middle draft picks... We're kind of cursed i guess.

I'm sorry, i guess i'm a lil bit depressing myself.

meh

with the way fla and buffalo are failing, its going to be a slow and painful death for the habs... they might fail their way all the way to the playoffs which will be extremely painful

They only need to finish .500, they have to beat out 1 of about 5 teams. they just need to stop playing like crap.

Who cares. if they play like this against bottom feeders, how can you expect them to win against Boston, NJ or Washington in the first round??

This is somewhat how I feel...
