Another GDT with splendid pages 5-7 chock full of rich yummy Stevens-tearing goodness.

Another GDT with no mention of the guy after the Flyers take a lead.

disgusting.
That fake shot and then pass right before was pretty slick too.
Gotta have your stick on the ice when Giroux is out there.
That's what's been said about all great passers over the years and we'll hear it about Claude soon.

The fact that we killed a couple penalties and won the game doesn't really excuse Stevens for putting out Jones and Carle together.

It was still stupid, even if we won.

You're a genius. Maybe the next time Holmer has town meetings you should attend one and dazzle him.

I know you frequently sport maximum chubb for Richards, but you should at least try to be honest now and again regarding his propensity to make bad decisions with the puck. On that play, he took the puck from the New Jersey point man, but rather than just clear it and end the power play, he donned his Captain Turnover cape and gave it right back while trying to get fancy with Gagne. That is how the goal happened.

Cant wait for this kid to fully mature.
His vision on the ice is unbelievable.

Its all good. Last two games Jones had icetimes of 12:55 and 15:28. And we won with him playing 3rd pairing icetime. No shyt right?

It was definitely Carter. The feed I had was showing some foreign network (with the Versus feed) were they didn't show commercials but stayed on the ice the whole time (even during intermissions). They showed the interview twice (once live and the second time the version you guys saw) and the first time you saw Carter standing near the bench laughing. They cut that part when they showed the replay.

It's funny that I actually have less of the "Richards is God" complex around here and criticize him when he deserves it.

I actually even criticized him in this GDT for that exact play.

I believe that I've already mentioned this, but it's a real shame that the American education let you down with stuff like learning how to read. I'm not sure how it was done in the 1940s, but in today's society, we usually read other people's positions before we run our mouths.

He's impressive. Unless he:

a) gets injured, or
b) isn't willing to work on his body,

he's going to be incredible.

The difference between his brief stint last year and this year is amazing. His strength on his skates has gotten really good. I was at the last home game vs PGH and watched pretty big Orpik really try to push him around and he couldn't do it. Giroux doesn't look like the same player as a year ago.
