He doesnt play with St.Louis Malone or Stamkos. He has played with all 3 at various points, but for most of the year (or the part that Tocchet has been in charge) St.Louis Stamkos Malone have been on the same line. With Vinny playing with Prospal and someone else, it changes game to game, Halpern, Karsums heck even Pettinger. Sure the MVP line has been together a bit, but generally he is with Prospal and someone else.

He is also injured this year as you may have known, as shoulder surgery takes a long time to recover from and he was playing 3 months after, rather than the recommended 6 months. He wont be fully recovered until next season, or that is what he is saying.

And as to the not being able to carry a team on his shoulders obviously he cant this year as he hurt one. But seriously if you wanted to see him carry a team on his shoulders you should have watched the 2006 playoffs in the series against the Devils, he was easily the best Lightning player in that series, doing everything, scoring PPG+, a game winning goal etc. He could even be considered the best player in that series from both teams. He carried that on into the next season was leading the league and got injured. Since then (1 year and a half now) he hasnt been the same because of injures, wait to see what he does next year before you judge either way.

So what I am trying to say is he is a great player you arent giving him enough credit (meanwhile I probably give him too much credit)

In the last couple of games I heard they replaced Vinny with Stamkos.Maybe a sign to come for them

Also since that cup run,4 seasons later..

Lecav
316games,156Goals,186 helpers for a total of 342 pts=1.08ppg

Richards
294 games,84 goals,187 helpers total of 271pts.=0.92ppg

Now don't get me wrong, the year Tampa won the cup I agree with you Richards was the best player in those playoffs but since then Vinny has the edge and I'm sure he can make a bigger impact for a team then Brad

I'll say 4-3 Habs.

Goals by Tanguay, Plekanec, Markov and Higgins

H10H, has cursed us. Everytime he predicts a win for the Habs we get clobbered...

I predict a very close game where we will get at least 1 point.

we win tonight 6-1

Word is that Ramo will be starting in net tonight with McKenna as back-up. Neither should draw fear, lol, but just thought I'd let you all know.

based on pics from Habsinsideout...looks like Stewart is playing if your basing it on the colour of his practice jersey. He's wearing white like Tanguay and Latendresse are...but Laraque, who is sitting, is wearing a red jersey.

Haven't seen Stewart in the lineup in a bit...i'm a fan, here's hoping he plays.

It was an optional practice. I highly doubt jersey color matters in those situations.

I love the guy but unloading your best prospects for him would be stupid. Subban and Mcdo are untouchable for me.

Anyone else think that Tampa would have a decent team if not for injuries?
