Any kind of abrasive will dull them... but that is the only way to properly get the rust off.

depends where the rust is. i have steel wool in my shop. if the sides are rusted they get wooled. if the bottoms get rusted, i sharpen them.

that's crazy. i work at a shop and for HS kids its 3 bucks, 4 during week ,5 on weekend, 7 for newskates that weren't bought at are store, and first time free for store-bought skates.

what do you charge for baking? 10 for store bought 20 for non-store bought.

You charge for sharpening and baking skates bought in the store? I wouldn't buy there. Place I got mine did both of those things free when I bought skates from them.

we only have a n/b oven which we rarley use. i think its 10 bucks. our pro shop doesnt have alot of equipment in it. we dont have any skates over size 8 and besides one pair of vapor xxxx the best skates we sell are 5k pumps. we have like 3 top of the line senior sticks. our other pro shop, which is about 10 miles away, carries most of the equipment. we mainly just sell tape and do sharpenings.
