The most valuable player in the Montreal package is a UFA who's been playing poorly of late, the 2nd most valuable one has
67 points less than Malkin, and the rest is a grab bag of current borderline top 6ers apart from the draft picks, which would assuredly be late 1sts because Malkin would make the Habs an elite team.
Trading Malkin's a non-starter, but some threads make it that much easier.
