Rest Kipper till the end of the season?

Alright, for argument's sake...

Let's say Anaheim loses their next game and we clinch a playoff berth. Let's also say that Vancouver takes over first place in the NW next game.

Should Keenan sit Kipper for at least 3 of the last 5 games, so he's sharper for the post-season?

Something's got to give. Either we REALLY miss Bourque or the deadline deals have mucked up team chemistry. But this is NOT the team from Christmas.

no excuses for flames now, even being down Bourque! Hell look at SJ tonight, were sitting pretty compared ot them. The rest of our team needs to bring it up a notch, stop trying to make pretty passes, get the puck on the net and get those rebounds and always have someone on the week side to slide the puck in, there were all glumped up tonight.

Oopsss back to the Q. I say if we dont have a chance to ensure we are first in the division then yeah sit him and a few other regulars, our workhorses and let others get more icetime plus potential call ups from the farm. If we are in the race, which we are, play him hard! He has been the energizer bunny, and he is not the only goalie to do it , let him make the call, he will let the coaching staff know if he's tired, gets two day rests after back to back...........sorry for the rambling

I think McElhinney is due to get a couple starts in the remaining six games. Depending on how the Nucks make out tomorrow against the Wild I would think long and hard about starting Curtis on Thursday night. The Stars are struggling and are pretty much out of the playoff picture. Have to think he gets a start in one of the next two games for sure.
