They've now been revealed in the NHL. Mike Richards was wearing them in tonight's game.

enjoy.

there's not much to be impressed by only looking at the outside. It's really similar to the XXXX, but the inside has been changed a bit.

Yeah, Nike sold Bauer back to an investment group, any new product releases after the vapor xxxx/one95 goods will be branded as just Bauer.

I knew that I just didn't think it would be this soon. I originally heard there would still be nike bauer logos on the equipment for 2 years after the acquisition, and I believe it happened about 1 year ago.

They're allowed to use the logo for up to 2 years after the transition, it keeps LHS' from having to blow out a brand-new one95 skate or XXXX stick because of an 'old' logo. It keeps both parties happy.

Here's a better pic of Mike Richards wearing the skates. They look pretty nice.

I think the fade from black to gray is supposed to harken to the Vapor XXX, which was supposedly the most popular skate in the Vapor line.

Alfie and Kelly have been wearing them for practice, and you will likely see them in them at the games soon. Both seem to like them.

Bauer Vapor XXX is the best skate ever. The balance and the level of stiffness is way better than on the "too light for my taste" Vapor XXXX. I hope the new X60s are closer to the XXX than the XXXX.

I bought a pair of XXX on eBay last year that I'm keeping for when my current XXX finally give out.

how do those perforated runners hold up? i lost the left skate for my bauer 8000s so i was going to take the ls2 holder off of it and put it one my graf 705s. i have to buy another holder obviously but i wasnt sure if i should buy another holder with a perforated runner if i should just buy the holder and 2 non perforated runners.

whats the advantage to the perforated runners? less weight? i cant imagine it making that much of a difference

also is there a difference between the color of the tuuk lightspeed emblem? the one i have now is grey but i cant find another grey one, is there a difference?

When you are talking about skates that are getting weighed in "grams" for marketable value, steel is "pretty heavy".

These are actually different than the ones Richards is wearing - notice how the boot blends into the toe cap. Maybe this is a prototype or something.
