edit: I sort of feel bad for Caps fans in a weird way. He's going to be that guy that other team's fan bases are going to attack you for once he finally makes it (if he continues on his path). Poor Sabres fans are left defending Kaleta constantly, same with Tootoo in Nashville, same with Burrows in Vancouver, etc. Brad Marchand is likely going to be "that guy" for us Bruins fans in the next year or two. Looking forward to it, should be a good time.
Psh, that's nothing. We might have both Akim Aliu AND Kyle Beach coming up with the big club next year. I should type out my defenses ahead of time to save me a headache.

I'm gonna take Vitale off the list and move him down with Connelly for now, as everywhere else has him signing an ATO, except Andy Strickland who said he signed with Pittsburgh.

Also, holding off on Bozak until I see something official that isn't lead by "Sources say..."

Corey Cowick signs a ATO with the Rangers and will report to Hartford for the rest of the season because he is still draft eligible.

Nice pickup o Richards, I wanted the Habs to draft him in the 7th round after his freshman year. I'm suprised though since you have Fallon in the ECHL

Well, Bulin's gone after this year, and one of Niemi or Crawford will be up with the big club

Also, according to that same site, Rob Klinkhammer signed a 2 year contract on 3/25/09

Also, adding Patrick Mullen.

That link doesn't work, and the DU website has nothing on Bozak going anywhere; they have the "Mullen signs with Kings" story, but zippo on Bozak.

Bozak signed with the Leafs last night. It may be the reason for the thread on it.

"Update: The Penguins have signed Brad Thiessen to a two year entry level contract. Thiessen played all 41 games for the Northeastern Huskies this season, finishing with a record of 25-12-4. He recorded a 2.12 goals-against average and a .931 save percentage while collecting three assists for the Huskies. His 2.09 goals-against average and .932 save percentage were a personal best during the Hockey East 2008-09 campaign.

Thiessen is a top three finalist for the Hobey Baker Award and just the second Huskies player to ever achieve that honor."

Thiessen might well have signed in Pittsburgh, but I'll wait for someone to actually report it as being done. I heard 29 other teams were liable to sign him and Montreal has really been disappointed with Lecavalier's performance down the stretch run for the Habs.

I have no idea why he would sign there... MAF is the goalie of now and the future... Unless they plan on moving him for some reason. I'm surprised he didn't sign with Toronto, Florida, Dallas, San Jose... A place that has an aging goalie and he can take over in 4 or 5 years.

I'm a big fan of his, and think he'll be a serviceable goalie with some seasoning. I just have no idea why he signed there.

What is Thiessen thinking? Fleury is the guy for the next 5-7+ years. San Jose, Philly, Colorado, and a number of other teams could give him a shot in a little over a year or less.

How many goalies end up starting for the team they broke into the pros with?

He's probably looking short term, and short-term the Penguins have an opening for a backup.
