See, I have no problem with Parent in the defensive zone, I think the pairing of Kimmo and him works very well in its own zone. But I don't like the pairing overall, they're both too defense oriented, we get no push up the ice when they're out there.

Inexcusable at this point.
I hope Stevens and Holmer let em know about it.
I guess we will find out on Friday if they got that message.

Maybe we gave out to much vengeance last year?

- Hatcher is the LTIR
- Smith is in Ottawa.

There's your punishment, in a nutshell.

Are there other examples of Parent failing to clear the puck in front of the net besides last night? Just wondering because some people make it sound like it's happened dozens of times.

I don't mean to make excuses for him, but on that goal last night it looked to me like he thought Marty had it and he was just trying to box out the Leaf from getting to the goalie. The Leaf made a good play to get his stick on the puck through Ryan's stick and under Marty's pad. **** happens.

Calm down, there's only a 0.5% chance we don't make the playoffs.

It's not about not making the playoffs, its about fielding a good team for 70 games and having it go to **** and limping into the playoffs.

If the Flyers lose at least one of the next two games, watch that number jump. High.

I'd be surprised. Look at the graph on the right.

6 weeks ago - 1.6 %
5 weeks ago - 0.3 %
4 weeks ago - 1.1 %
3 weeks ago - 0.7 %
2 weeks ago - 0.4 %
1 week ago -- 0.1 %
now --------- 0.5 %

Way too much has to happen. All the planets have to align perfectly for all 5 teams that would need to catch us.
