Maybe we sign Bozak and he plays out the remainder of the year

I nominate Arnason to win the "Conn Tavares" award for excellence in our stretch run for the no. 1 draft pick.

Listening to the radio on the way home from the game Ben Guite said it best, "..this, this sucks..."

At the opening faceoff I don't think there was more than 6,000 people in the building, max, and I'm not exaggerating.

I was surprised to come home and check the box score and see over 13,000 tickets were sold to the game. At least half were no shows.

There were a couple hundred people who filed in after a whistle with about 13:00 left in the first period, but that building was a ghost town.

I counted 25 upper level sections with less than ten people in them and the lower level was less than half full.

It was dead in there tonight.

A pretty brutal game to watch. It reminded me of a crappy preseason game.

Hensick had some forgettable moments on the PP and Ray Macias looked the part of one of the last guys you would call up from the A.

Too bad the Islanders blew a 3-2 third period lead. That would have been the lone bright spot of the night.

Is it safe to say that the players had quit playing and tried their best to kick Tony out for next year???

Look at the line-up. Most of these guys just want to be on the team next year.

It's not a matter of effort at this point, it's just that most of these players shouldn't be playing in the NHL. (Either right now or never should be.)

Hendricks will probably get called up, but Willsie is the next in line to play IMO. He was a healthy scratch tonight.

Gee, I was going to get a cheap-o ticket and go see the Monsters play the Wolves next week here in Chicago...but if I really wanted to see the Monsters, I'd have to travel to San Jose next Tuesday or Thursday...to Denver. Hmmmm

If you could get one of those for Granato, that would be great

I don't think we can outsuck the Isles... It's a hope, but a bleak one...and an embarrasing one to admit at that.
I almost feel bad to however we win against for the remainder of the year, that is given if we win again. I would like it to be some real high ranked team though
"Did we just lose to the Avalanche....????"
That would just expose the typical irony of the avs.....if it happens of course....
Next game is against the Van, what do you think?

Great loss.

We never looked threatening and the 0 points were always in the bag from the drop of the puck.

Good stuff, let's keep this momentum going.

And just think...to most, this was considered our "most winnable" game left on the schedule

If Smyth is really done for the final five games I don't think the Avs will score another goal.

Exactly what I said last night. If Galiardi or Hensick are your #1 center with Hejduk and Svatos the wings, thats just painful.
