You really expect a team to keep pushing at 100% when they're up 4-0 against an injury-riddled Islander team? It's impossible to not play down to your opposition to some extent.

Your comments make it seem like we scraped out a 2-1 win in overtime...

You know nothing. Go post on the Bruins board, they'll love a debbie downer like you.
The prob is that we started this game like it was an exhibition one, Islanders had a couple of good chances, 2 on 1 twice and some good shots, Halak has been pretty solid, a NHL team would have took advantage of our poor play.. we played better in the second and the third but there were too many passengers again.. As I said, the Bulldogs could have won this one.. Im not negative just for the fun of being negative, Im a fan but also an observer who thinks we will get the opposite result if we dont play better in the next few games, every teams we will face til the end are playing some pretty good hockey, we will have to be ready to face a much better opposition.. last 2 games were a smokescreen, you will see..

Right up until Sergei was sent down to the minors and the propaganda came out in the papers re: AK's involvement with the mob, he was actually playing quite well and one of our more consistent scorers, after all he does have 23, he needs a set line to get into the groove, all the juggling Carbo was doing did'nt help anyone.

Absolutely not! Laps,Lats,Kostopolus has been our most consistent line this year, they know their roles and are very effective at it. Keep our lines as was in NY, if Pleks is struggling and not producing maybe promote Metro, but I think they are good as is.

I've read it on HIO and some other boards.

Personally I think it sucks so I won't use it.

That line gives other goalies headaches, so calling them Aspirin is just.. wrong.

Hopefully, Gainey's gonna keep the same lines and D-Men against Toronto and for all the remaining games.

It is well balanced with all the key ingredients to be successful.

Don't try to fix it Bob !

They call them the ASA line. ASA is short for Aspirin (Acetylsalicylic acid)
