Do you guys want more Bulldogs on RDS?

I've been meaning to get some opinions on this lately. I realize that there's a log of legal mumbo-jumbo to go through with tv contracts and the like, so maybe airing actual bulldogs games wouldn't be feasible for RDS, but I myself would love to at least see the highlights on Sports 30 or something after the dogs have a game.

I don't understand how they can show highlights from games in the Q but not show our own farm team that has players in it that WILL be habs in the near future.

Anyway, that's how i feel, what about you guys?

I'd even appreciate a "Down on the Farm" type of show. Maybe include some news about Cincinnati as well. RDS would need to hire someone new to do it though, none of their "experts" know anything about prospects, just look at their entry-draft coverage.

That would be great.

Oh I wish the Canadiens farm team was still in Quebec city. I'd surely try to see them a lot, like many people.

They moved it in Quebec too early, I'm sure the team would be quite popular if it were here now.

i would definatly agree with this, it will give us the oppertunity to get a glimpse at our prospects and other teams prospects as well. Reserve friday night for the bulldogs instead of playing poker...

While i'd love to see other prospects too, i think at this point just asking for bulldogs coverage is stretching it, which sucks. For a station that's supposed to be all about hockey and the habs, I see a bit too much racing, golf and poker to take it seriously.

Yes, definitely.

On a related note, I still can't get over Brunet and Houde last night:

Pierre: Veux-tu aller voir le match des Bulldogs a Hamilton demain?

Benoit: Heu...on a pas d'auto...et on devrait peut-etre decrocher du hockey temps en temps!

Pierre: Oueh, bonne idee....

Pierre: Que dis-tu d'aller quelque part et regarder le match Flyers/Leafs?

Benoit: C'est une tres bonne idee ca!

That was hilarious. Maybe they think Leafs games are not hockey but a circus.

Ah! Good luck, a mostly English team that resides in Ontario on RDS? Good luck.
Besides if they indeed had more coverage can you imagine the overrating of every dang french prospects by the media? ouff

That said, of course I'd love to be able to follow the dogs but these uptight ****** could barely even mention them during their Calder run nor show highlights when they actually won the dang thing.

RDS is a joke of a sports channel that take themselves entirely too serious when in fact they're too often incompetents.

Not to go too far off topic, but at one point brunet was complaining that lats didn't get the penalty shot chance even though it was kosto's breakaway that caused the call. Dude is completely clueless.
