The Amazing Ben Eaves Breaks the Record For Most Points In a Playoff Season

Ben Eaves now owns the record for most points in a playoff season in SM-Liiga. Old record was 21 points and Eaves has now 4+19=23. He did that in just 12 games and the serie still continues.

His dedication to hockey is remarkble. In December Eaves made decision to end his career cause his knee was so bad. Somehow he got it fixed to the point he was able to skate. Returned to play for Blues and now he is rocking the scoreboard. There couldnt be a better rolemodel for young hockey players.

Sounds great, it's always nice to see guys come back from injuries and do good.

I hope he will have a long career.

I still think that Veli-Pekka Ketola's 20 points in 10 games with 6 points in decisive final (point for every goal) is better achievement. Hockey was different in 1978 but anyway...

Ketola being a legend in Pori wouldn't have anything to do with that?

It's great to see him being able to play. Hopefully he continues in SM-Liiga next year too.

That's great to hear. He was a great prospect when he played in college but I thought the injuries had completely ruined him. Hopefully he can keep doing what he's done recently in the future.
