Shoulder injury for S. Kost. Apparently His shoulder was hurting already and the hit made it worse.

Hammer is ready to go..

Here is the link with the stuff about Kost's shoulder..

Didn't want to start a new thread, but Sergei was at the Remparts game tonight. Just thought I'd share the info..

He was there watching his friend play (Mikhail Stefanovich)...

If only the Habs could've draft Stefanovich last year instead of this Steve Quailer guy...

I mean the Leafs have a steal IMO...

Agreed. We've lacked a big center for as long as i can remember, we had a great chance at acquiring one that would have instant chemistry with players already in the system and we didn't pick him up. I don't really see why they took quailer over him. whatever.

I was pimping Stefanovich last year and everyone kept telling me no, no, no.

I wanted him too... He had his cons, but not as much as some would have liked you to think.

Oh well, despite at all, he has yet to prove anything. And Quailer doesn't look like a terrible pick.

Maybe at the NHL level, but he's been tearing up the Q.

We picked Kristo and Qualer ahead of this guy. Those two have projections to be like Kostopoulous.

That's the first time I've heard that. They are all totally different players.

If you mean they project on a checking line, maybe. Though it's a bit soon to ignore their offensive potential, especially since they have shown promises so far. And if they turn into two pretty good defensive players, that'd still be two useful picks.

Stefanovich is not a center. He's a right winger. At least that's where he's played since he's with the Remparts. I have never seen him play center.

Agree.

I've seen Stefano play a lot, he's definitely not in the same class as, say, Radulov for example. I prefer Kugryshev, by far. I have not seen that Kristo guy play enough to compare them though.

It would be easier if you just said you have no idea what your talking about. Kristo and Quailer are total opposities of Kostopo, they are all about offense not a checking line grinder. YIKES

Easy thought is they liked Quailer more, and I can see why.
