Probably both.

Dandenault on the 2nd line to replace him and Brisebois on defence is a total ''Carbonneau under panic'' type move from Gainey and I hate it. D'Agostini on RW of the Pleks line and Dandy on defence > Dandy on the 2nd line and Briseobis on D.

Les Trios en vue de ce soir:

Tanguay-Koivu-Kovalev

Latendresse-Lapierre-Kostopoulos

Dandenault-Plekanec-Higgins

Metropolit-Strewart-Laraque

Les premiers duos défensifs sont intactes:

Komisarek-Markov

Schneider-Gorges

However he thinks Andrei is not playing due to his performance, not an injury
That's MUCH, MUCH better. I really like the Higgins/Plecks/Dandy line, even if it's unlikely to remain a permanent line. Talk of a speedy checking 3rd...

At least, Gagnon realized something than most here didn't...

At this point, the LLK line is really the 2nd line of the team.

I think that line is a checking line (3rd line...). One has to remember that Lapierre is (lately...) a much better center than Plekanec.

Can't really blame Gainey for benching AKost but you just can't go in the playoffs without him. He'll have to find a way to get him going before time runs out.

Yeah this team is out in 5 at the most if AKost doesn't get out of his funk.

Thats not true, not true at all. They are probably better off not having to watch him float around the ice, telling stories of what he "could have been" and "who we could have drafted instead"

Good riddance to him, come back when he has his work ethic and attitude adjusted.

They are better with him playing like he can. I think that was the point.

Just got back from the practice and the boys looked good.

AKost was on the ice until the end working goalie drills with Price and Denis.

Price pulled himself from the drill after it looks like he got hurt. He just made a b-line for the dressing room didn't even look like he said anything to Rollie. Hopefully he just got stung and it's nothing serious.

Hope that's the case with Price. I think AKost needs to find himself some confidence and discover what his role is going to be now and into the future. He has sick passing skills but to me, he is more of a sniper.

On a side note its 1-0 BOS.

Why do you think Carbo was doing that kind of moves? Some players werent working hard enough, thats plain simple.. At least with Dandy on this line you will see a guy working extremmely hard trying to complement the 2 others.. Ive seen enough of A.Kost's floating, its time he wakes up and start playing this game with fire!!!

Of course, thats not something that can work long, but if that line have a good game, you just cant send a better message than this one at the guy who is supposed playing there.. Thats what Carbo tried to do plenty of times but the players werent proud enough to react like real pro..

I disagree. Gainey is trying to find a way to jump start Plekanec. The solution isn't to play him with another slumping player (D'Agostini). Dandenault brings a veteran presence, speed and is hungry to play. It's a calculated move by Gainey to solve one problem at a time. When Pleks is solved, then he can move on to Kost. This isn't permanent.

Dandy is our new Mark "Swiss Knife" Streit ! (without the offensive talent, of course)

Dandy has 3 Cups, and is one of the league's fastest skaters..

they should sign this guy for 10 years, before the other GMs in the league would do it.
I heard at the trade deadline they all offered huge deals for Dandy but BG refused for obvious reasons.

guessing is has to do with 1 goal in his last 16 games..that's unacceptable.

He has won three Stanley Cups, all with the Detroit Red Wings, in 1997, 1998 and 2002.

Dandy is faster than Streit any day. Is it the gum?

French...mehhh...props to Streit (not like he had to take lessons or anything though), but his "Germanized" French is pretty harsh on the ears and his answers were pretty simple and pre-programmed, not to mention speaks soooo slowly. Nothing like good 'ol generic
"b'en c'est sur que"
"c'est sur et certain"
"faut envoye la rondelle au fond de la patinoire"
"J'aime personellement le Bubalicious, comme ch'peut faire des gros ballons avec"

Just saying.... Go Dandy!
