Does Paul Kariya have any gas left in the tank?

Does Paul Kariya still have the ability to be a star in this league?

You have to define what it means to be a star. I think he can put up around 70pts for the next two years. IMO, that makes him a star.

Don't think he will be a star, but he can still be a good, productive player for the Blues. He was great earlier this year before he got injured.

He had a great summer of training last summer and started off this season on pace to score over 100 points. I don't think he would have but thats what he started the season playing like. I know he wants to win, if he can get healthy soon and have a good summer of workouts, he will be our all star next year.

Paul went from his normal playing weight of 176 lbs. up to 185 lbs this past summer. He then developed hip problems that have limited him to 11 games this season. First he had surgery on one hip and then was so happy with the results that he begged the Blues to let him do the surgery on the other hip. This was after he experienced pain in the other hip and it was determined that there was similiar damage. He has done nothing but work out after the surgeries and claims he feels like he has new hips. He's also said on several occasions that he'll be available to play if the Blues make the PO's, though the team hasn't committed one way or the other. Given that Kariya is very excited about what these surgeries have done for how he feels, I think he'll go right back to a PPG player.

Him and Tkachuk played together earlier in the season and played excellent, yes?

I figure he's got more in the tank.
